Today is the day of the party. The party starts at eight so we had to be ready by quarter till. Eva came over at five so we could start to get ready. I curled Eva’s hair for her and I hair sprayed it a lot to make sure it wouldn’t fall out. Eva then curled my hair and pinned it to the side. We tried to replicate our makeup to what the consultants did yesterday. By the end of doing our hair and makeup we looked like completely new people.

                “You look gorgeous Eva!”

“As do you, Aisley!” We slipped on our dresses, added our jewelry, and slipped on our shoes. We were done right on time! As it got closer and closer for the party to start I got more nervous. I knew my brother was going to be there. What would he think? He hated when we were younger and I would talk to his friends.

“Aisley! Are you coming?” I must of zoned out for a while thinking about everything that could go wrong. It was already eight and I knew my brother and others were already there. Eva and I walked downstairs and had my mom take a few pictures of us and we headed out the door.

I drove a few blocks to the party. People were already in the house and the backyard. I could hear the DJ blaring music and lots of people were walking up to the house. I parked the car and looked over at Eva. “Are you ready for a new start?”

“You bet I am!” We got out of the car and walked up to the house with the many others. Some people were already drunk. We walked through the foyer and the kitchen out to the backyard. People were swimming in the pool, dancing around the DJ and socializing all over the place. I spotted my brother by the DJ with a drink in his hand and two girls grinding up on him. I turned around with disgust and knocked right into a guy.

“Hey, my friend here and I were wondering if your friend and you would like to dance.”

“Umm, yah.” I messed that up terribly. I acted so shy. The one guy grabbed my hand and led me to where the people were dancing. Alongside us Eva and the other guy danced. One of my favorite songs came on and I started to dance like crazy. I was having such an amazing time.

They had a few people walking around handing out drinks to people. I grabbed a cocktail and continued to dance.

After a few drinks I became a little tipsy, not being used to drinking. My brother noticed I was getting a little drunk and walked over to Eva and me. “Aisley, you and Eva need to leave you are getting drunk!”

Nolan grabbed one of my arms and one of Eva’s and led us to his car. “Get in and I will take you guys home!” We left the party a little after midnight. I just remember people being passed out in the lawn and most people were already gone.

Nolan helped Eva and me up to my room. We changed into something to sleep in and went to bed. We both woke up in the morning with a horrible hangover. We clearly were not used to drinking and it hit us hard. I walked downstairs to grab a few glasses of water and Nolan was standing in the kitchen. “Did you have a fun time last night sis?”

I was so embarrassed. “Yah I did actually.”

“Glad to see you and Eva finally getting out. Just don’t get into too much trouble.”

I grabbed the glasses of water and went back to my room. Eva and I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up until four.
