Tonight was the opening football game of the season. After school Eva and I went to my house. We put on our cheer uniform and did our hair. I walked downstairs to get a glass of water and went back to my room. “Whose blanket is this?”
“It’s Emmett’s.”
“When were you with Emmett?”
“He picked me up after Kyler was a complete jerk to me and I left.” I ended the conversation with that.
We went to leave passing through the living room. Nolan, Scott and Emmett were just getting ready to go too. I ran back to my room real quick and got Emmett’s blanket and brought it down for him.
Eva and I drove to the school and met up with the rest of the squad. We made a huge banner for the football team to rip through.
Ten minutes before the game we cheerleaders lined up in front of the crowd. We set our pompoms on the ground. We went and grabbed the whole student section and made a long tunnel walk. Harleigh and I help up the banner we made. The band started playing the school song and the team ran out, led by Nolan and the head coach.
We kept the crowd going the whole game. For our opening game we were playing our long time rivals. With a minute left in the game the score was 17-20. There was twenty seconds left and we had possession of the ball. Nolan kept the ball looking for someone to pass to. All the receivers were covered. Nolan found a strip open right down the middle and ran in for a touchdown. Steven kicked our field goal and we won!
After the game Eva and I went out to get something to eat. We went back to my house to watch movies and eat popcorn. We pulled up to my house and there were cars everywhere. We walked in and Nolan had the football team over for a party since they won.
Eva and I hurried up to my room before anyone noticed us. We changed into some pajamas and laid on my bed. We were about half way over with Hairspray, some football player walked into my room. “Oops, umm can you tell me where the bathroom is?”
“Yah, it’s the next door down.”
“Thanks, sorry again.” I looked over at Eva and we both started giggling.
The movie ended an hour later and we changed into some cuter clothes and joined the party. Alex came over and got Eva and I and we went over to his little group. Eva, Aisley this is Matt, Colin and Joey. I said hi to them and took a seat on the loveseat with Matt.
Everyone left the house around two in the morning. Eva and I helped Nolan get everyone out to their cars. I walked out into the drive way and Matt came up to me. “Hey Aisley, I would like to get to know you better. Would you go on a date with me tomorrow? I have four tickets to the Hunter Hayes concert. I talked to Alex and Eva and they are going too. “
“Oh my gosh! I love Hunter Hayes. I would love to go.” I gave Matt a hug and went back inside my house. Eva and I went back to my room and went to bed.
