Hello there! I thought since i've been really busy and distracted that I would do a surprise upload so here it is! Also I have new fans to dedicate the chapter to! Duckiechick0589 and sneeuwitjie! I also want to dedicate this chapter to TrishaBrattonGlad mainly because her questions inspired this chapter! This is a cliffhanger chapter because well I wanted to make it exciting. Enjoy reading!

"What do you mean he says he liked every bit of it?" Amaya shook me. Niko had gone to work this morning and we still haven't talked about it. I was overly angry last night, I cant believe my wolf told him to claim me. Then she slept with him. I feel so stupid!

"Amaya i'm so confused and tired with all of this, you don't understand! Loving Niko was so easy and care free just last year! There was no Codie, Noah kept his hatred to a minimum....I cant-I can't do this anymore." I sob.

"Are you going to talk to Niko about this temporary claim he has on you?" Wait what?! He didn't fully claim me? Why do I stay here? Why do I keep putting this stress on my body?

"No, How long before it wears off." I mutter, slipping my dress up so that she could see the scar. Amaya studied it for a while before she answers. It brought some relief.

"A day, a day in a half tops. Melinda if I were you i'd get out of this hell hole. I'd go to Hawaii and get a house big enough for my kids. You don't deserve this Mel. I know I told you to marry him, but if you do that you'll just end up divorcing him again and that wont be good for you or the babies. Get away from him. He doesn't love you, not like he loves this whore."

"Don't speak ill of the dead. She was my half sister, and that sick bastard fucked her! Is my life even worth living anymore?!" I cry. Amaya grabs my face, looking me in my eyes.

"Of course it is! You have me and Max and Rex and-and Reese! You have a father that loves you and kids that love you! Men would walk a country mile to be with you Melinda. You're the kindest person I've ever met. I don't want to ever hear you talk like that ever again, you hear me?" I nod my head as I release more tears.

"Tell Niko you're staying at my house tonight. You're sleeping over my place and were going to take your mind off of all of this. You'll feel better. Now pack your stuff. There's this guy, Blake next door. I'll invite him over for dinner, get you a little eye candy." Amaya nudges me.

"The last thing I need is to be a third wheel, besides I don't need the drama." I sigh, plopping down on my bed.

"Melinda, I guarantee you that if you confront Niko about what he said last night, you'll be in the hospital. If he wants to fuck other girls find another guy."

"Two wrongs don't make everything right, Amaya."

"Two wrongs do make everything equal. If you don't come, i'm dragging you out of here! Pregnant and all." Amaya begs, pulling at my arms. I know she's trying to help me, but either way the problem will be here when I get back. Why run away from it?

"Alright! I'll go, but Niko is going pick me up when he gets off.

The car ride shouldn't be this silent. Why wait until I get home to confront him? He's going to break my heart either way.

"Was sex with Codie worth cheating for? Please be honest." I frown, feeling the warm tear glide down my face. Why did I even ask this if I knew the answer. Niko's hand tightens around the steering wheel. He didn't have to say anything, his movements tell all.

"Melinda..."

"Fine...Tell me Niko, When you say you love me...do you mean it?" I glance at his face, the disgust and guilt seeping back into his skin. Oh god, what am I doing?
