Aurora was sarcastic, smart, and lonely. Every Wednesday and Thursday she would stop by 'Books', the town bookstore, located in an isolated corner, across the street from Twist And Shake, an ice-creamery. The store was never full, Aurora being pretty much their only customer. But since she was a broke teenager, she never bought any books. She picked up any book she could find and made herself comfortable in aisle 13, the last isle, near the window and the coffee machine.

Harry, the bookstores only employee, grew fond of the girl who sat in aisle 13. Harry was always looking for a laugh.

He was 19, drunk off of cold coffee, and energetic.

He drank 4 cups of coffee per day, and then he would sit next to Aurora in aisle 13 and read her books.

He would read her love stories, and horror stories, and tragedies, and science fiction, and fantasy. He would read her Harry Potter, sometimes over and over.

He read her John Green and Nicholas Sparks.

He read to her while he drank coffee, he read to her while he stared at her long dark hair.

And somewhere in between pages, he fell in love, too.
