Well this is definitely not what I expected

Chapter 22: Prom!

Maddi's POV

    Oh My Flippin' God!!! It's finally Prom. I'm so excited!!! I have only been waiting for this day since I started highschool. Ahhhhhhh (que mini freak out) Okay time to be serious. So Alex and I are going to Kat's house to get ready. I picked her up and we are getting Starbucks before we go get ready. The boys are picking us up sometime tonight I don't really know when but that's ok.

   "Hey Kat, " Alex and I say at the same time when we get to her room. "Hey, how did you get in?" she asked. "Your mom let us in, " Alex said while she carefully hung up her dress. "Oh that makes sense. I'm going to do my make-up in the bathroom. One of you can do yours in there with me the other can do it at my make-up table in my room, " Kat said. "Ok I'll do mine in here, Alex can do hers with you, " I said. With that they grabbed their make-up bags and went to the bathroom.

   I didn't put on much make-up. My eye shadow was silver and I had on black mascara and black eyeliner on only the water line. My lipstick was a nude colour. I also made sure to make my cheeks a rosy pink colour. My hair fell down my back in waves and a few pieces were pinned back to the center of my head. I had a silver head band which I place on my head. My dress was strapless and reached the floor. The neckline was sweet heart and there where flower type things on my bust. Under my boobs there was a thick aqua blue waist band. The bottom was made of tool and it was aqua blue as well. There was some white material under the bue material. I paired my dress with silver strappy heels. Prom is masqurade theme so I picked a white mask out so it goes perfectly with my dress. I think I looked amazing.

  When all of us girls were finished getting ready we went down stairs to Kat's living room and took pictures of ourselves. We all looked amazing. Alex captured some really good shots of Kat and I. Not long after we were done getting ready there was a knock at the door. Kat's mom answered the door and told us it was the boys. Before we could leave she took pictures of all of us. The boys all looked very handsome in there tuxes.

   Noah was wearing a grey tux with an aqua blue button down shirt underneath to match my dress. He paired that with a black tie and black shoes. He was also wearing a white mask. He looked very handsome. "You look amazing Maddi," he told me. "Thanks Noah you don't look half bad yourself," I cheekily replied to him before we all piled into the limo. Yes I said limo, the boys got us one to drive us to the school and back home. In the limo we all talked and laughed; it was a lot of fun.

   When we got to the school, Noah helped me out of the car before we went in the school. At the door a photographer was taking pictures. Jackson didn't look impressed with him because he was checking Alex out. Oh my bestie is a looker isn't she. When we finally got inside the gym I looked around at all the decorations. It's amazing how they were able to transform the gym to look like well not a gym. Most of the guys looked good in their tuxes and all the girls looked beautiful in their dresses. It was hard to tell who was who because of the masks.

We all danced and talked to other people. We also ate because the school had ordered lots of yummy food for us. The principal climbed on stage to announce the prom king and queen I think. "Attention can I have everyones attention," he said. "It's now time to announce the prom king and queen," Mr. Smith said without much emotion. "The king is a write in vote. Congradulations to Jackson Knight," he said. Everyone cheered for him as he walked to the stage. Not without giving Alex a kiss though. "And the queen is also a write in vote. Alexandria Secret congradulations." To say she was shocked was an understatement. Her jaw hit the floor before she walked up to the stage.

    Alex's face was really red when they put the little plastic tierra on her head. I've seen the girl blush but never that hard. Jackson just smirked like his usual self when they put the plastic crown on his head. I think the only time I've seen him smile is when he is talking to Alex and I don't know about what because they whisper. "Can everyone make room on the dance floor so that the king and queen can have their spot light dance," Mr. Smith said emotionlessly again.

   Everyone moved so they could dance. Alex's face was still really red, she hates being center of attention. I'm surprised she hasn't fainted yet.

   'I'll Be' by Edwin Mccain came on for them to dance. It's a really cute song. When it ended everyone joind in for a slow dance. We danced to ' I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston. It's an amazing song; I love listening to it. I love dancing with Noah because he knows that he should keep his hands above the equator: unlike other boys. He is a truely amazing boyfriend.

   After prom was over we took the limo back to Kat's house. Alex and I are staying the night. Kat really wants the boys to stay too; so she ran inside, the best she could in heels at least to ask her parents. A few minutes later she came running outside yelling "YOU CAN STAY THE NIGHT; BUT WE HAVE TO SLEEP IN THE LIVING ROOM SO NONE OF US BANG EACH OTHER!!!!!!" Well it was nice to know they can stay but I don't think the neighbors need to hear that.

   While us girls went inside to get our make-up off and to change into pajamas the boys went to heir houses to get clothes. I was wearing long pj's pants that were pink and had butterflies on them, with a pink tank-top. I was also wearing pink slippers. Alex and I finished changing first so we left Kat upstairs and went downstairs. We had to get some stuff out like; blankets, pillows, food, sleeping bags, and drinks. It was going to be a good night.

   When the boys got back they were wearing sweats and carrying their bags with clothes for tomorrow I guess. Logan was carrying pizza as well. Yummy! We all piled on the ground surrounded in pillows, blankets, and sleeping bags. We ate pizza while we watched movies. The one we are watching now is 'The Notebook'. The cutest movie ever. "I love this movie. I want a love story like Noah and Ally," I whispered to Noah. My Noah. "Well I can't guarantee you a love story like them because I don't plan on going to war but I'll try to make it pretty close. Except for the fact we won't be breaking up," he whispered back to me. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW he is so cute. I leaned up and planted a short and sweet kiss on his lips before going back to paying attention to the movie.

   After 'The Notebook' was over we had to watch some action movie for the boys; and Alex because she hates that movie.

We all fell asleep while watching movies. It was a great ending to a great night.
