Well this is definitely not what I expected

Chapter 15: Bonding

Alex's POV

   Today is going to be the most torturous and annoying day of school alll year. The grade elevens and twelves have been having arguments that have led to fights which have led to going to the principals office. The arguments were bullshit and over nothing important. To stop us from arguing we have to have a day of bonding because the teachers say we are all equals. So today during first and second period we have to play capture the flag and durning third and fourth period we have to play hide and seek tag. All of this will be happening in the woods behind the school, and it will be competitvie. Or so the teachers say. To get on our teams we have to go to our first period class before school starts. In there we will pick a flag from a bin and whatever colour it is indicates what team you are on.

    Jackon is my only friend in my first period class so I'll only know If i'm on the same team as him for now. I pulled out a red flag from the bin so I'm on the red team. I'm happy about that because I didn't want to be on yellow because it's an ugly colour. I looked up just as Jackson grabbed hiis flag. He is on red too which is a good thing because I'm on the same team as my boyfriend. "Looks like were on the same team Lex baby." "I guess we are Mr.Jealous." I said. "Errghhh when are you going to stop calling me that?" "Not any time soon I think." I said with a laugh. He just pouted like a little baby. Grabing his hand I pulled him out of the class saying "Come on baby let's go find out what team Maddi, Noah, Kat and Logan are in." "I don't have a problem with going but I would rather you not pull my arm out of it's socket." Letting go of him I said "I wasn't pulling on your arm that hard." "Oh I know I just wanted to distract you so you'll let go of me so I could do this." Just as I was about to ask what he meant he picked me up bridal stye and started running down the hall with me in his arms.

   "Put me down before we get into trouble." "Oh Lex you are dating me, a bad boy, you have to live alittle and don't worry about getting in trouble. Anyway we won't get in trouble I think." "What do you mean you think?" Just as I said that I heard "Mr. Knight put the girl down." Looking towards the end of the hall I saw the principal Mr. Smith. "Yeah we definitetly won't get in trouble" I whispered in Jack's ear as he put me down. He just scowled at me causing me to smirk. "You know the rules no carrying people down the hall way." "I know Mr. Smith. It won't happen again." "It better not." As soon as he was out of hearing distance Jack and I both burst out laughing at the face he made before he left. It was sooo funny, good ol' Mr. Smith always knows how to make someone laugh.

   When we finally found Maddi, Kat, Noah and Logan I saw them all holding red flags. "Looks like we are all on the same team bitches." After I said that Jackson looked at me funny. "What?" I questioned him. "I've never heard you swear before." I just laughed at that becasue I really enjoy swearing.

   The teams were mixed of grade 11 and 12's, so red team was on one side and yellow was on the other. Jackson was happy when he saw Ethan on the other team. Oh he definitetly wasn't jealous at all. The game was really fast paced and fun. We played a total of 10 games in the 2 hours and 40 minutes. Red won seven out of the ten times because most of the athletes were on our team. We went for lunch after that. Kat somehow convinced all of us to go to the dance studio, I don't know how she did it but she did. When we got to the studio the boys immediately started  eating because they are well boys and boys like to eat. Kat and Maddi wanted to dance around so they plugged in my phone for musuc because apparently both of theirs were dying. The first song that came on was 'Ugly' by Christina Grimmie. Looking at each other we knew what was going through each others mind. When the song got to the chorus we burst out singing.

   To say the boys were looking at us funny was an understatement. They were looking at us as if we were aliens. Us being us we just laughed. When lunch was over we had to meet back in the court yard to start our second activity. "Alright who wants to be it for hide and go seek tag?" One of the teachers asked. I don't know who because I was standing close to the back of all the other people and I'm short so I couldn't see over them. Not surprisingly no one raised their hand. "We have no volunteers, so all the guys on the football team and rugby team are it. Everyone else you have 2 minutes to get away. No going in the school and stay on school grounds. 1, 2, 3 Go." When the teacher said that we all ran. All us girls meaning Kat, Maddi, and I stayed together.

   By the time the game ended saying we had all bonded was an understatement. We were all laughing, and talking. Fooling around with each other. The teachers were happy which is good. After school ended Jackson gave me a ride home on his motorcycle. The rest of the night was boring. I just texted people, ate food, watched tv, went on the computer, and just acted lazy. I went to bed after and had a very peaceful sleep considering I was really tired.
