Well this is definitely not what I expected

Chapter 17: Awwwwww

Maddi's POV

   Today is finally the day where I get to go on a date with Noah. I have no idea where we are going but, he seems to be a romantic type so I'm sure it will be amazing. He said he was picking me up at 11:30 so I had to wake up earlier than I normally would on a staurday. I had a shower and I picked out my outfit already. I'm wearing hot pink shorts with floral tank-top tucked in, with a thin brown belt around my waist and brown strappy sandals. I paired that with a tan cardigan and a brown handbag with only the essentials in it. I think I will look cute. I left my hair natural and I did my make-up light. My lips and cheeks are a rosy pink colour. 

   By the time I'm finished getting ready I only have 5 minutes to spare. When I open the door after I hear the knock I'm starstruck at what Noah looks like. He is wearing tan jeans with a black t-shirt styled button down and black vans. He looks very cute in my opinion. "Hello Maddi, you look beautiful." The way he said that and the way he smiled made me blush. And I don't blush easily so that says a lot. "Thank you. You don't look to bad youself." My statement made him laugh alittle. "Are you ready to go?" "Ya I am I just have to grab my purse." As I walked in the entry way of the house to get my purse I faintly heard him say okay. When I got outside he shyly grabbed my hand and led me to the car.

   The drive to our destination was short. When we got there he blindfolded me. After we walked in silence for a bit I said "are we there yet?" "Yes we are here but I can't unblindfold you just yet give me another minute or two." "How do I know you wont abandon me?" Laughing he said "I won't" and for some reason I believed him. Only minutes later I could feel him untie the blindfold. Once my eyes got used to the light I saw the most adorable picnic ever. The blanket was red and green checkered, and there was an assortment of cups and food on it. He got us sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, and sparking apple juice. It's the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for me for a date.

   "It's so cute and sweet Noah. Thank-you" I said while hugging him. He hesitantly hugged me back after a few seconds, and said your welcome. I guess he definately wasn't expecting me to hug him. After we sat down. While we were eating we got to know each other with small talk. I decided to tease him a bit. "So did you make all this food?" Blushing a bit he looked away from me and barley audably mumbled a small no. He is just so cute. "If you didn't make it. Who did?" When he finally looked at me with a faint blush still on his cheeks he said "A cafe made it." "Oh that's cool. It's still really sweet that you came up with such an amazing first date." "Thanks"

   After we finished eating Noah packed everything up and ran the picnic baskets to his car. We are at a park so we decided we would walk around for a bit to spend more time together. Noah and I are really hitting it off. I like him a lot already and I am definately over Jackson and I'm not jealous of Alex anymore. "Hey are ready to go for the walk?" When I heard that I jumped because I didn't hear Noah approach me. "Are you okay Maddi?" He asked me worridly. "Yes I'm fine I just didn't hear you coming because I spaced out a bit. So when you said something it scared me thats all. Nothing to worry about I'm perfectly fine." I assured him. "If you say so"

   We walked around for about an hour. We saw these two little girls standing on a park bench singing 'Love You Like A Love Song' by Selena Gomez. They were really cute and they actually sang really well. When we got to my house Noah walked me to the front door. "I had a really good time Noah thank you." It wasn't a problem. I'm glad you had fun because I had fun." "I had a lot of fun" I said with a flirty smile. "Im glad, bit I got to go now I have to pick up my little sister from her friends house. Bye Maddi." With that he kissed me on the cheek and walked towards his car. "Bye Noah" I called after him before going inside.

   As soon as I got to my room I called Kat and Alex and filled them in on how my date went. They freaked out with me about how cute and romantic he was. I think I may fall really fast for Noah if he keeps being his cute adorable self.
