Well this is definitely not what I expected

Chapter 37: You Know How To What????

Kat's POV

   It's our last day on the ranch and we unfortunately leave tomorrow, which sucks balls. A lot of things have happened including lots of farm work, more horse back riding, and sex in the barn between Logan and I. It was really awkward when Noah's grandpa caught us sneaking back into the house.

   Today we are going to some hoedown or country party or something like that. None of us thought to bring outfits to wear to a party so we are going shopping. Sara, Noah's mom, and Noah's grandma are taking us shopping. There aren't any shopping malls or nothing like that in town so the only place to go is a vintage boutique. Alex is very excited about that but I on the other hand, not so much. I prefer big ass shopping malls, with lots of store. But what can I do.

   Alex some how convinced Jackson to let her drive his car. He was shocked that she even had a liscense because she has no car and never drives anywhere. Before we could leave she had to drive him around the block for him to make sure she drives good enough. Apparently he doesnt want anything to happen to his 'baby', aka his car. Boys will be boys with their cars.

    Sara, Maddi, Alex and I went in Jackson's car. We followed Noah's mom and grandma in her car, because none of us knew how to get to the boutique. When we arrived we parked outside the cutest shop ever. I know I was knocking it before but it's soooo cute.

   Inside the store was cute too. The lighting was slightly low but thats okay. There was a lot of cute clothes there. Alex and Sara went shopping happy because they both like vintage clothing. I bought a couple of thing too and Maddi did as well. We all got cute dresses to wear for the party thing later. They just so happened to all have some sort of lace on them.

   Sara's dress was a light blue all lace dress and it was knee length. It had thick tank top sleeves and there was a thin light brown belt around the waist. She paired it with brown strappy sandals, and she looked super cute.

   Maddi's dress was a really pale yellow and it was also knee length. It had thick tank top sleeves and there was a colar around the neck line. It buttoned down the front with small buttons that were the same colour as the dress. It was all lace till the waist then in turned into a form of tool. She paired it with white ballet flats and like Sara she looks amazing.

   Alex's dress was white and it went till mid thigh. It was all lace and strapless. After the bust is was only lace so it was see through, after the waist it was flowy and it wasnt only lace because there was white material underneath like on the bust. She paired it with black cow boy boots.

   We all wanted to wear cow boy boots but it only looked good on Alex.

   My dress was a blush pink and it was mid thigh. The top was lace and it had sleeves that went down to my wrists, and the back was open giving it a sexy look. From the waist down it was a silky material. I paired it with white platform open toe heels. I looked super sexy.

   All us girls got ready in our room. We all helped each other out with hair and make-up. We all did our make-up light and naturally except Alex of course. Her make-up was dark as usual. I left my hair down with twists on the side. Maddi had her hair in a twisted bun. Sara's hair was pinned all to one side. Alex had her hair down natuarally with a french braid hairband thing. When we were all ready we left the room.

   Logan was shocked at my appearance. I think this is the first time I have never had cleavage showing, which is not normal for me. "You look sexy Kitty-Kat," Logan said to me. "Thanks so do you," I said back to him before kissing him.

   We went to a barn for the party. There were light hanging from the ceiling and there were candles in mason jars hanging from the wall and ceiling. There was a little stage that had a band playing country music and there was also a little set up for a dj I guess for if the band wants a break, I suppose. There were a lot of people there and everyone was dancing. Everyone was talking to everyone. I guess that's what happens when you live in a small town.

   We were all hanging around at a table talking. The band had gotten off the stage and a young guy was playing music. A little girl went up to him and all of a sudden the song, 'Hoedown Throwdown' by Hannah Montana was on. "Oh this is my jam," Logan said then immediately turned red. I guess he didnt realize he said it out loud. "What?" Maddi asked him with disbelief. "It's the Hoedown Throwdown, everyone know this song and how to dance it," he said.

   "I dont," Noah said. "You know how to what?" Jackson said before laughing. Logan's face went even redder if thats possible. Alex stood up and grabbed Logan by the arm. "Come on lets go show this lot how it's done," she said dragging them to the dance floor. It looked like a lot of fun so Maddi and I joined them. Eventually Noah came too.

   The only person out of us who stayed sitting was Jackson. When the song was over 'Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy' by Big and Rich came on. We all stayed on the dance floor to dance. Alex was dancing and looking at Jackson. For some reason he came to dance with her. Much like the way Logan and I dance, really close if you know what I mean. Oh the powers Alex has over that boy.

   At the end of the night we all went back to the ranch. We all passed out quickly because it was a long, fun, and exhausting night.

  The next morning we woke up early and left for back home. I have got to say that I'm really going to miss the Samuels' Ranch and Noah's grandparents.
