Chapter 35: How will I ever survive?

Noah's POV 

    Its been a while since San Diego, and to say I don't miss it is a lie. I mean who doesn't miss lounging around doing nothing and having fun. I was lying on my bed watching some random show. I was about to doze off when I noticed my mom standing in the door frame. "Hey mom what's up?" I asked her. "Nothing just reminding you that we leave to Grams and Gramps' ranch in two days," she said to me. I totally forgot that I have to go to their ranch. Every summer my family goes to their ranch to help out on the farm. Well my brother, sister, and I help out, my parents sit around talking with my grandparents.

   "Do I have to go this summer, don't they have farm hands or whatever," I said to her. "They do but they are on vacation for the week which is why we go," she said to me before leaving my door. I got up from my bed to follow her down to the kitchen. "But mom there is no TV or Wi-Fi," I complained. "To bad now stop complaining," she said to me. "Can I please, please, pretty please stay home?" I begged with my best puppy dog face. "Stop complaining. What if I call your Grams and asked her if you can bring some friends?" my mom asked me. "Yes and remember five friends," I told her. "Ok but you have to set the table for dinner," she said walking away with the phone.

   When I finished setting the table my mom walked in done on the phone. I looked at her expectantly and waited for her to say something. "You can bring friends but they have to help out around the ranch, and the girls will share a room with your sister, the boys will share with you and your brother," she said. "Thanks mom your the best," I said kissing her on the cheek before going to my room. I grabbed my phone and made a group message with Maddi, Kat, Logan, Alex, and Jackson.

(yes I call one of my best friends a dick I mean if the shoe fits lace that sucker up)

Me: Do you guys want 2 cum 2 my family ranch 4 a week? leaving in 2 days

Everyone: sure

JAcksonthedick: wuts the catch

Me: How do u no there is 1?

LOgAn: there always is

Me: fine u all have to help out on the ranch

Kat: doing wut?

Me: farm stuff, ridin horses, cleaning sum stuff, takin care of animals. its all easy but it gets boring

Alex:p: still sounds fun i'll come

Everyone: same we'll cum

Me: ok meet at my house at 7, and 1 thing there is no tv or wi-fi

Everyone: rlly?

Me: yup

Kat: how will I ever survive?

Alex's POV

   I woke up at 5:30, so I'll have time to shower. I don't want to be ready late because Jackson is picking me up so we can go to Noah's house. I'm hoping it will be a lot of fun there. I know I'll have fun because I get to go horse back riding but the farm work might not be much fun.

   After I showered I towel dried my hair before putting it in two fishtail braids. It kinda looked like pig tails but instead they were fishtail braids. I put on my normal make-up before going to my closet to pick out something to wear. I packed up most of my clothes that I wear all the time so my selection wasn't the biggest. Plus I don't have the most clothes in the world. I finally decided on the perfect outfit which is, dark blue jean shorts, with a red, white, black, and blue plaid button down with a white tank-top underneath and black vans. I thought I looked cute enough so I grabbed my bags and lugged them downstairs.

   I sat in the kitchen eating breakfast when Jackson texted me saying he was here so I grabbed my bags and brought them outside. Jackson was waiting on the other side of the door to help me with my bags even though I only had two medium sized duffle bags. He gave me a kiss before grabbing my stuff and bringing it to his car leaving me with only my purse. I followed Jackson slowly to his car so I was able to see what he was wearing. He was dressed in black shorts, with a white muscle tee, and a blue Obey snapback with blue high top Nikes. He looked very sexy.

   We got to Noah's house at the same time as Kat and Logan. We were told that either Logan or Jackson had to bring their cars. In the end Jackson had to bring his. He wasn't to happy about having to bring his expensive camero to some little farm town, as he told me. It was a very long drive to Noah's ranch or whatever it was. We didn't get there till 8:00 at night.

   We all grabbed our stuff after we got there, me being left with only my purse to carry again. When we got inside we were greeted by two very old but nice looking people. Noah had to go hug them so I'm guessing they are his grandparents. "Grams, Gramps these are my friends. Jackson, Alex, Logan, and Kat," he said introducing us in turn. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Samuels," we said in turn. They are Noah's dad's parents there fore they are Samuels.

   "Hello kids, and don't call us Mr. and Mrs. Samuels it makes us feel older than we already are," Mrs. Samuels said. "What do we call you then?" Maddi asked. "Whatever you want," Mr. Samuels said. "Ok, Nana Samuels and Grampy Samuels," Jackson said. "Sounds good," they said at the same time. After we were introduced we were showed our rooms. The girls and I were staying with Noah's sister Sara in one room. The guys were staying with Noah's brother Toby in the other room. After we brought our bags to the rooms we went to the kitchen to eat dinner. We had a nice dinner of chicken and potatoes with vegetables.

   When we were done dinner we helped clean up. We were given a tour of the house before we got ready for bed. We all fell asleep after we stayed up taking for a bit. Even though Sara is one year younger than us she is still pretty cool.
