Alex's POV

It's been a few days since I argued with my parents. I haven't left my room and I cut regularly, but only one cut a day so I don't become addicted. Everyone has been calling and texting me but I haven't answered any of them. I know I'm probably worrying Mads, Kat, and Jackson but I don't care at this moment.

I was just stepping out of my bathroom after a shower when I saw Maddi and Kat sitting on my bed. "How did you get in? The door was locked," I asked them. "You gave me a key remember? What happened to you Lexi?" Maddi asked me. As soon as she said that I burst into tears all over again. They came to me and wrapped me in a hug before pulling me over to my bed. When I calmed down I told them everything that happened leaving out the part of me cutting of course.

Maddi knew me all to well though and she immediately checked my wrists. Seeing the disappointment on her face made me cry all over again well whispering I'm sorry over and over again. "It's ok, it's ok. Promise me you won't do it again though?" she said. I said yes.

We watched a movie for a bit after they ordered pizza. I was apparently looking too thin since I haven't eaten for a few days. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I saw that yummy pizza. After the movie Kat began telling me about how we were going to kick off summer vacation.

"So we were thinking we would go camping with the boys. We are all allowed. The only person that needs permission is you." I laughed when she said that. "I won't be able to go if the boys are coming. Remember I'm forbidden from seeing Jackson," I said frowning when I said his name. "Ya I was thinking about that when we were watching the movie. We'll tell them that we aren't going camping with the boys. Tell them it's just us girls and to kinda be telling the truth we will get two sites. One for the guys and one for the girls," she said.

I thought about it for a moment and figured that the idea wasn't all that bad. "Ok let's go ask them," I said while walking to the door and down the stairs. With the girls following me.

Kat's POV

When we got downstairs we went to the kitchen where Alex's parents were sitting. As soon as we walked in her parents looked up and said, "Nice to see you finally built a bridge and got over that trash," with a cruel expression on their faces. Alex's face contorted in pain and Maddi wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

"Nice to see you again Mr. and Mrs. Secret," Maddi said with an extremely fake smile on her face. "Same to you Maddison and Katherine," Mrs. Secret said. I just gave them a small smile. "Excuse me but we would like to talk to you guys if it's fine with you," I said to her parents. "Take a seat," her dad said. We all pulled out a chair and sat down.

I looked at Alex and Maddi and immediately knew I would be asking if Alex could come. "So for summer vacation we were planning on kicking it off with a camping trip. Maddi and I are going with my older sister and we were wondering if Alex could come. We didn't want to leave our best friend at home for the three days we were going. So if you guys will allow it can Alex come camping with us?" I said lying smoothly about my sister coming. I don't even have a sister but her parents don't know that.

"You said you will be going with your older sister? Is anyone else coming?" her mom asked. "Yes we are going with my sister and I think one of her best friends are coming with us," I said. "When are you planning on leaving? and for how long?" he dad questioned. "We were planning on leaving tomorrow morning so if Alex can go she can pack her things then sleepover at my house because we are leaving from there. We are going for three days," I said.

"Well I suppose she can go," her mom said reluctantly. "Yes she can go," her dad confirmed. "Thank you," Alex, Maddi, and I said at the same time standing up and walking to her room. As soon as we got there we closed the door and began laughing. "Since when do you have a sister?" Maddi asked between laughs. "I don't I just made her up," I said. That caused us to laugh even more. When we calmed down Alex said "I'm surprised they agreed so easily."
