(BTW gif has nothing to do with this chapter, i couldnt find anything plus it's cute so....)

You and Sans had gone to Grillbys, sitting on the counter, in the seats you had been sitting in the first time you two met, that halloween night.

You remembered the scene so perfectly. You knew who was sitting where, what time people got up and left...

When you met him...though...

It was as if you knew you two were destined to be the best of friends...

As cheesy and cliche as it sounds....

As of right now, Sans was talking about some fun things that went on underground while meeting the silent sprite known as Frisk.

"So then i said, 'uh..i think thats a rock.'" Sans grins.

You chuckle and sip your cider, looking down. It stung your throat, as it did the first day you drank it.

"Your old life sounds fun. I wish i had a life like that." You say sadly.

"Don't get me wrong, i've been defeated before, i'll tell you that. So has Papyrus, Undyne, Toriel, everyone. Genocide mode is a bitch. Even Flowey has gotten scared." Sans says, looking away.

You sit up, hearing the name. For some strange reason, it had caught your attention...like you had heard it before?

"Flowey? Who's that?" You ask.

He puts his drink down.

(Spoiler alert i guess....) (If you don't know who omega flowey is..find out) (its from the neutral/first pacifist run so if you plan on playing undertale and don't want to read the spoiler..plus this is also from the genocide mode with the flowey story.) (people will yell at me if i don't put this in so sorry!)

"He was the king and queens son, who later died. Then, his soul fell into a flower. Sounds wierd but it's true. Then he went crazy helping people, and wanted to know what would happen if instead he killed them. After awhile, when everything seemed to be going well, in the end when everything was perfect, he absorbed all the human souls needed to break the barrier. He turned into this ultimate  creature, gigantic, a mixture of all the souls together. But eventually Asriel, the dead prince, gave up and realized killing people was bad, yadda-yadda, he broke the barrier and that's how us monsters got here. Apparentely he's still down there, and there's no telling if he could morph into that dumb flower again and take over humanity." Sans shrugs.

You swallow hard, trying to take all that in.

"Damn." Is all you could mutter.

He chuckles and loooks to the side. He had an upset...yet guilty look in his eyes.

"So... how was your life? You seem pretty upset about it, tell me." He says, smiling softly, trying his best to get off his story.

You sigh and look down at your drink.

"Well...it's not very pretty. And its not as epic as yours." You smile sadly.

"What happened?" He asks.

You sigh, looking down. You knew you hated this story, and you wanted to pretend in never happened...that it was merely a bad dream. But you knew it wasn't.

You knew letting it out would help.

"Well....We lived on a house on mount Ebott. It was a nice, quiet home. Nothing exciting happened. Not until they found that hole." You sigh.

"Who?" He asks, scooting closer to you, a look of interest on his face.

"My brothers. Living in the house was me, my mother, father, and two brothers, one younger than me..Toby, and one older Raymon. I was the middle child, but i was the only girl, so we all got and equal amount of attention. They had always gone out and explored without me...always saying it was a boys only kind of thing. Then one day, they found that hole. That damn hole...My little brother had always loved the stories including falling down holes...Totoro....Alice in Wonderland....movies like that....So while my brother was examining the prophecy written on the cave walls...Toby jumped. Just like that, he just, jumped. Raymon tried his best to stop him, but he didn't save him in time. So he did what any brother would do... He jumped as well.

Neither of them survived the fall, we knew that for sure. They had both been diagnosed with long term brittle bone disease so they couldn't take a fall without snapping a bone. That night my parents said they wanted to mourn with me by the hole. So we set up a whole bunch of candles around the tunnel and cried for them. When i had peered down, i saw a small speck of golden lights.

It was beautiful

While my parents...went inside to get more candles, i sat on the hole, my feet over the edge....and something grabbed me. It was somekind of...weed or..tentacle...i don't know. But whatever it was...it was trying to pull me down with it. My parents herd my scream and rushed to help. The thing grabbed them instead....draging them down into the darkness. I heard their screams, and then a loud crack...and that was the last time i ever saw them.

Everynight since then...I've had nightmares...i saw things trying to snatch me away in the night.

The people i had lived with thought i was insane, put me in an asylum. The people in the asylum gave me medication..they helped me forget...they made me forget. And i've never thought of that day since then....

But last night...My nightmare...it reminded me of the time it all happened.

Every scene that i had long forgotten...replayed over and over in my head till i couldn't take it."

Sans stares at you with wide eyes. After several moments of silence, he gets off his stool, dragging you out of the diner. He pulls you into an alleyway and hugs you as tight as possible. You gasp and stare straight, tears forming.

"God, i'm so sorry kid, i'm getting all wishy-washy just hearing about it. I'm so sorry you had to go through that." He says, stil hugging you.

"It's ok. If none of that had ever happened, i wouldn't have become the person i am today." You say, smiling sadly.

He sighs and lets you go, sitting on the floor of the alleyway. You glanced to the side and saw a cat girl sitting beside an alligator girl with blonde hair. You look down and look at Sans, crawling into his lap. He watches you, and you smile, kissing under his chin bone.

"Your super cute you know." He grins.

You smile and snuggle into his jacket, laying against his bony chest. He smiles and pets your hair softly, making you feel calm and relaxed, making you forget.
