Bad Timing

I'm not sure for how long I was asleep. Probably not very long. But when I woke up, I could hear someone opening the door to this room. It was the inspector. I started to panic a bit, since he'll probably find the dead nurse. I should've stuffed her body somewhere. He walked in and looked around at everyone. I continued to lay on the couch, since he couldn't see me, unless he walked in front of the tv.

The inspector then took a long walk around the room. He walked toward the couch and looked down at me and smiled. "You must be Alice." I looked up at him. I didn't know what to say.

"I'll take that silence as a yes." He sat down next to me. "So, I heard you escaped from here, along with Steven. But you ended up back here, and he didn't. What happened?"

I hated his sarcasm. I hated the tone of his voice. I tried to ignore him. "Am I upsetting you?" I look up at him. "What do you think."

He's asking for it, obviously. Take him to the back room and kill him.

That didn't sound like a bad idea. I stood up and walked into the back room and hid behind the wall so that he couldn't see me. He followed me in and gasped to see the mutilated corps on the ground. I closed the door and smiled.

He laughed and shook his head. "You never learn, do you?" He reached for his phone, but I tackled him to the ground. I punched him in the face, and his glasses went flying across the room. He pushed me off of him and bashed my face on to the desk.

I stood up and threw a punch, but he grabbed my arm and pinned me against the wall. "Make a move, and I'll break your arm!" Guards walked in and noticed all the noise that was coming from the room we were in. Oh, great. The guards saw the dead nurse and the blood. The inspector threw me on to the floor in front of the guards. I shot up and ran out the door, since they didn't lock it.

I ran down the hallway, avoiding capture. That is until I got to the lobby. I bursted in, and the people screamed. Papers were flying everywhere, everyone was panicking, and I felt someone grab the back of my shirt. It was the guard who caught me when I shoved a paper plate down that guy's throat.

He smiled. "Alice, it's nice to see you here again." I tried to leap away, but he had a tight grip on my shirt. I fell face first on to the floor and crawled away. But he pinned me down and called for more guards. They came in and dragged me away.
