Hi my name is Erida and this is a story of how a single letter has changed my life.
It was Sunday morning, just woke up from bed thinking all the possibilities of activities to do when suddenly my mom shouted at me
'Erida!! Hurry up or you'll get late!'
Which reminds me that I had something to do already, which in fact doesn't really pleases me much..
Half-dragging myself, I went out of my room
'yes mom, I know.'
As I walked into the kitchen, I noticed an envelope with gold embroidery on it. And what was written on top of it was, "To Miss Eridanus South". Ok, so the thing is that hardly anyone knows my long name and this time a letter from an unknown person comes and my long name, which I never told anyone, was written on it. Well, isn't that shocking?
Ignoring the letter, I walked up to the dining table and picked up some toast and butter and started munching.
'If you leave 5 more minutes, you might make it. Oh and a letter you is here'
My mom is by far the most optimistic person I've ever met and that's not the only good thing about her, she's also the nicest person I've ever had.
Anyway, I picked up the letter and read the front
'Arcadis Academy..?' then I suddenly remembered that I registered myself there for junior high. But of course, I only registered myself as Erida South. I mean, having a river's name as your name is a bit embarrassing you know? well, it was. But the letter is from Arcadis Academy which means..?
'Then don't tell me..?-'
'Honey, you better leave now or you'll be late again!'
'Oh no!' I quickly put the letter in my bag and head out.
