Riuna led me through the dorms.
'We each get our own rooms. Each house holds 3 rooms. And here we are. Yours is Room 3 on the second floor.'
I opened the lock with my student card. The door opened on its own, revealing a huge room decorated with rattan décor, giving it a natural feeling. Outside the window is a huge balcony with plants and a picnic chair.
The bed is made out of dark oak wood, my favorite, with a fluffy mattress. On top of it is a silver satin bag with my uniform inside it.
The wardrobe is also made out of dark oak wood. Inside it there was my collection of clothes from my house.
'This looks a lot more like a private hotel room rather than a dorm.' I forced myself a smile
The whole evening passed quickly, that night I looked out the balcony. Stars danced in the midnight sky, made me think about my mom back at home.
'Finally, tomorrow my school year starts!'

The first thing I heard that morning was a knock on my door. I quickly get changed and open the door. Outside was Riuna in full uniform.
'Riuna, what wrong?'
'Erhm... Today is the Entrance Introduction Ceremony, therefore I shall help you prepare.'
'Prepare? But the ceremony is at 9 o'clock you know? Why need to be so early?'
'You still have a lot to learn about this world, and this entrance ceremony might make everything clear for you. Thus, it is a great idea to try not to be late.'
'Yes, that's true but... it's still 4AM..?'
'Ahaha... I guess I was just too excited. I'll go back then.'
'Riuna wait! On second thought, there's something I need to talk with you.'
I let Riuna in and we went to the balcony to talk.
'Say, Riuna... was what the headmistress said true?'
'Excuse me?'
'I mean, the thing about my birth family being...'
'Probably. She is the witch of knowledge, she knows pretty much anything if she wants to.'
'Then, what about me? Am I really..?'
'Who knows, but one thing's for sure. Although it's somewhat different, your aura is of a human's. So rest assured. Well, at least for now.'
'Riuna, I'm sorry. I had the wrong ideas about you. At first I thought you were a selfish and scary person. But now I know you're not that kind of person. You're kind and very brave. Even after all this escort thing is over, will you stay as my friend?'
'Ahaha... Hearing that from you makes me happy. Don't worry! Of course we'll stay friends; I mean we are dorm-mates.'
'Wait, we are?'
'Yup! I live downstairs, room 1.'
'Who's in room 2?'
'Oh it's vacant. She left this school already, she said she wants to go home and take care of her siblings.'
'Oh...'
That morning we talked a lot. Our interests, our background, and more. It was one of the best talks I've ever had.

'Here we are, the stadium. This is where all the new students will have the entrance ceremony.'
It looks like an ancient roman coliseum. Inside a lot of students has already arrived and sat in their positions.
'This is where we part. Hopefully we get the same class schedules. See you later Erida!'
