A wall of fire rose from the ground, burning everything it touches, leaving nothing behind. But as the darkness approaches, that wall crumbles down and returns to its master.

Red mist was formed, blocking light from its surroundings. White thunder strikes the ground and cleared away the mist.

'I'm telling you, I'm not going to stand here and let you take over me again!'

'You can try, but the results will be the same!'

Riuna charged with her rapier in her hands. Zen's arms reformed and plucked out a white feather and morphed into a thunder blade. The match went back and forth from an elemental fight and a sword fight.

'Since this is taking longer than I expected, maybe it's time I get a little serious.'

For once, I don't mind seeing Riuna's eyes turning red.

'-Hall of Mirrors-'

A row of mirrors appeared from the ground, trapping Zen with his own reflections.

As Zen was about fly out, hands appeared from the ground and grab his feet.

'-Shadow Bind- Do you think I'll let you get away again?'

'It's not fair! You're using a level 5 spell combination here!'

'Nu-uh! It's your fault for not learning.'

Riuna ran close to Zen and pushed him to the ground. She bit his neck and sucked his blood.

'Okay okay it's my loss again. Now would you stop? Anymore and I might just die here!'

'Well, your blood tastes weird anyway.'

'Don't say that in front of me!'

'Zen are you okay?' I ran down from the spectator's seat and help him get up.

'Yeah I'm fine. But my pride is not.'

'Wow man, how does it feel like being sucked by a vampire?' Leone teased him.

'Stings a bit and a bit ticklish. But when you get the same experience for 278 times, it doesn't feel like anything anymore.'

'To be exact, it's 279 now.'

'You lost 279 times?'

'No, actually I've never won against Riuna even once. I guess I really am better at medic than what my bloodline does.'

"-What my bloodline does" Zen said it with a different, darker tone.

'Enough about me, it's time for Erida and Leone's match isn't it?'

'Of course! I can't wait to beat the heck out of this newbie.'

'I won't let you do that! I'll prove to you, that even I can win against you if I want to!'

'Well then, Zen and I will be watching you two from the spectator's seat. Remember this is just a practice match. Try not to go too far and kill each other.'

'But, you almost did that to Zen?'

'Well, that's a different matter.'

'Riuna and I spar a lot, in one way we know the limits of each other's capabilities. And just to let you know, Riuna has never used her full strength in these matches. You can get serious, but not too much that it could destroy one's life.'

Riuna and Zen walked up to the spectator's seat and Leone and I had a stare fight.

'3, 2, 1, Start!'

I launched several balls of flame to the ground, freezing Leone's standing area along with his feet, immobilizing him. After a few weeks of training, I could control my flames more freely and accurately.

I pointed my chopstick-like blade at Leone and shoot a huge ball of blue flame at him. Leone deflected it with a flick of his hand.

'What!?'

'Do you think something like that would hit me?'

Leone summoned 2 gun-like figures each next to him. Magic circles appeared from them and shot out rays of light, breaking the ice floor I created.

'You're next.'

I jumped back and prepared my next move.

'This is just stupid.' Leone sighed and closed his eyes 'I don't even need to look to beat you.'

I clicked my tongue and summoned a ring of flames. I threw it at Leone. But the moment it hit him, it shattered to pieces.

I was quite desperate. I was forced to use a spell I was saving for later. I froze the whole arena, dropping the temperature and hid my presence.

As I was about to use my chance, Leone's eyes opened. He stared at me with his golden eyes, and then I realized that I have no chance at all.

I fell back and tried to digest what I saw. Leone's golden eyes, as if it's filled with shadows, like it's telling me "You, who know nothing, are ready to challenge me? Get lost."

'I- I surrender.' Admitting defeat isn't really something I want to do, but I figured that I need to know more about Leone if I want to challenge him again.

'Pft! And she says "I'll prove to you, that even I can win against you if I want to!"'

'Oh can't you just let it slide!?'

I've been fooled. Leone did a mischievous smile. And that thing I saw in his eyes? Forget about it. To think I was giving sympathy to him for even a second!

A hooded figure stood far from us, watching the whole match.

'As you said, he is still alive. It seems like we'll need to put an act soon.'
