Our faces are only a few centimeters apart. Daiki's hands are both grasping my arms. Right now, I'm gazing at his deep eyes staring right through me. I can't move. I can't even react. I'm speechless--unable to think clearly about his remark. It's true, I can just reject him, and tell him that I only see him as my best friend and nothing else. I can tell him, right now, that he has to stop everything--stop caring about me.

But I can't.

You're not the reason as to why I'm in a tough situation. I'm actually the one who dragged you in it. I'm making everything more complicated. It's entirely my fault. Even if I love aniue, I can't seem to let go of you as well.

I'm definitely the worst.

"I...I..."

"Dinner is served!!!!"

Ayumi nee-sama suddenly barged into Daiki's room. Upon seeing the two of us, she immediately let out a mischievous chuckle with her face blushing. She's apparently teasing us. Immediately, we moved away from each other. I could feel my face turning beat red, and as I glanced up at Daiki--he's blushing up until his ears while his gaze is directly towards the floor. 

"Yuki Yuki!!"She adds up with a very jolly tone on her voice. "Outo-sama invited a few guests as well."

"What?"My heart skipped a beat upon hearing her remark. Could it be?

"Who are they nee-san?"Daiki Added up. 

"It's your brother and Chiyoko silly. They're here!"

"Oh."I forced a smile even if inside I'm again screaming at the top of my lungs. Why is he here again?? Every time I avoid him, he's always there. It's as if no matter what I do, we're fated to meet"each other, and be together again. I can't escape him. He's everywhere. "That's a first."I jokingly added to lighten up the mood. 

"Why is he here and worse, he brought that girl along with him."Daiki couldn't maintain his composure. It's apparent that he's mad about aniue and Chiyoko being here. 

But it can't be helped. The Takedas are our family's closest family friends. We can't just involve everyone in this. It's already too absurd. This is me and my aniue's dispute, and I don't want this to worsen even more. 

"You hate him forever Daiki."She teases him. "But you can't do anything, otou-sama invited them so you should just be a good boy. Nee Yuki-chan??"

"Y-yes."

"So shall we??" 

"Sure, I'm already starving as well."I smiled back at her.

As we were walking along the mansion's traditional, Japanese hallway, on our way to the dining area, suddenly Daiki grabs my arm as he stops me from continuing forward.

"Hey what's wrong??"Nee-sama stopped as well as she noticed the two of us. "Why are you stopping? And Daiki, don't be too possessive of Yuki-chan. It looks as if the two of you are actually lovers."She chuckles devilishly, teasing us again.

"Shut up."Daiki replies. "You can go first now, leave us for a minute will you?"

Now Daiki's annoyed.

"Oh sure, if you badly want to have Yuki-chan all by yourself. I can let you." She's still wearing her teasing grin.

Soon, she walks out of the place, leaving the two of us alone.

"Let's run away."

"Daiki, no."

"Why?"

"Let's at least show your family that aniue and I are in good terms, that in the eyes of your family, we're normal?"I replied as I let out a smile.
