Chapter 13

Taraji -

A week has passed and nobody has heard or seen any word of Common. I've met up with Ty and Jennifer for brunch and she has nothing on him. She says he's not answering her calls or texts. I mean Common isn't stupid maybe he knows what's going on. I shook my head and pulled out my phone as I waited for my food. After today's taping for Empire, and being on the Wendy Williams show this morning I was tired, and hungry, and horny. I just wanted to eat, go home get a good shower, and cuddle up next to Tyrese. But he hasn't been answering none of my calls, or texts I was gone get in his ass as soon as I got home.

I took a sip of my Sprite and finally my waitress came with my order. "Okay Ms. Henson here is your basket of fried chicken and your chicken Alfredo sorry about the wait the chief wanted to make sure your food was cooked the right way," she said.

"Okay thanks," I said as I dug in. This food was banging. I was enjoying my meal when a familiar voice called my name. "Taraji?" He said. "OMG!!! Hill! It's been a while!" I cheered as I hopped up and ran into Hills arms. "I know I know, what you doing where's Tyrese why you eating by yourself?" He asked.

"Tyrese is out with Rev Run today working on their show, I just got done with taping Empire for this week, I got a little hungry," I said laughing. "Mind if I sit down?" He asked. "Yeah go ahead call the waiter and order your food we have some catches up to do!" I said.

Me and Hill dated once me and Tyrese went on a break, we were friends before we started dating. Hill was like a brother to me, and us dating seemed awkward, so that's we decided to breakup and just focus on our friendship. I knew Ty was jealous of me and Hill's relationship but we were just friends nothing major.

"Man I know you gone be a great mother," Hill said as he scooped some of the ice cream. We were sharing an ice cream sundae. "Yes, I'm so ready," I said. "How is Tyrese feeling about it?" He asked. "He's excited," I said. "You didn't really say that with passion," he said. "No no, he's happy we're happy," I replied. "Okay you better be if you not he gone get these hands," Hill joked. "Awe you have always been in my corner," I said. He kissed my cheek and we continued to talk. Once we were down he walked me to my limo. He gave me a hug, a kiss on the cheek and left.

The minute I got into the limo I drifted off to sleep. When I finally got home, I kicked off my heels, and listened to the voice messages. I cleared them and headed up stairs. "Where you been?" Ty asked the minute I came in the room. "Damn hello to you too,I've been calling and texting you all day," I said as I put my purse on the dresser. I started taking off my clothes.

"I was shooting for the show, I didn't have any free time, now where you been man?" He asked again. "I went and did my interview this morning with Wendy, and then taped for Empire, after that went to eat," I said as I walked into the closet. "With who?" He asked as he followed me. "Nobody just me," I said as I grabbed a dry towel and my body wash. I threw on his robe and went to walk out but he kept blocking my path.

"Tyrese baby please I don't have time for these games, I'm tired," I said. "Who you was with Taraji!" He yelled again. "Nobody damn!" I yelled back. "So you just gone stand there and lie to me?" He asked. "Tyrese what are you talking about?" I asked. "So you wasn't with hill?" He asked as he showed me his phone. Unaware, It was a picture of me and Hill leaving the diner earlier. The paparazzi took a picture of him kissing my cheek. "Baby,-"

"Nah fuck that man, you fucking around on me T, that's what we do now? You told me you was done with that nigga but I'm learning every day you a fucking liar!" He yelled. "Baby, your not even giving me a damn chance to talk," I said.

"Say what you gotta say man," he said as he sat down on the bed. "Tyrese I don't have time for this," I said as I made my way to the bathroom. "You had time for Hill though right? Yeah iight," he said. I shook my head and slammed the bathroom door. I locked it and I took off his robe. I hopped in the shower and turned on the water. Once it got to the right temperature, I began lathering my body down. I really hated when Tyrese acted like this. Like he didn't trust me. He'd rather fucking believe the shade room and TMZ instead of believing me.

Once I got finished, I rinsed off and dried off. Then I put my hair in a messy bun on top of my head. I put on my lotion and then my thong and my big t shirt. When I made it back in the room Ty was gone. I grabbed my phone and headed down stairs.

I fixed myself a bowl of strawberry ice cream and plopped down on the couch. I decided to call Mary and vent. "Hey girl what's up?" Mary said as she answered on the first ring. "Girl I'm irritated as hell right now," I said as I played with my ice cream.

"What's wrong?" She asked. "Ty, I know you seen the pic of me and Hill," I said. "Yeah, I thought it was fake but was it real?" She asked. "Yes he kissed me on the cheek, we were having a friendly lunch, and Tyrese just went crazy on me," I said. "Girl you know Ty has always been jealous of you and Hills relationship," Mary said.

"I know but it's like he doesn't trust me," I said as I shoved ice cream in my mouth. "Girl, you too just need to talk, Ty should know that he has your heart," she said. "I know right it's like ugh, he was jealous over me and Terrance's friendship, and now Hill, I don't know what I'm gone do," I said.

"How are you guys gone get married then, marriage is built on trust, trust me I know. Me and Elgin been there done that, and he knows I don't play, I trust him and he trusts me, maybe you and Ty need to sit down and talk things out," Mary said.

"I don't know Mary, I'm so confused like I don't know what to do, I mean I wanna be with Tyrese, I love him, but maybe we should hold off on the wedding until we learn to trust each other," I said as I took a deep breath.

"Maybe your right girl, but before you go jumping have a sit down and talk to him," Mary said. "Okay girl let me go and get my mind right," I said. "Okay sis love you," " love you too," I said hanging up.

I called Tyrese on FaceTime and he answered. "Hey," he said dryly. "Hey where you are?" I asked. "At Rev runs house," he replied. "When you get home we need to talk Ty," I said. "Alright but let me go we discussing some stuff for this show," he said. "Okay baby I love you," I said. "Love you too," he replied.
