Chapter 11

Taraji -

"Taraji, baby you're over reacting. Tyrese is trying to protect you from this damn buffoon," my mama said as she cut into her peach cobbler. "Mommy I know but it's like he doesn't want me as his partner any more," I said as I wiped my eyes.

"Now listen to me Taraji, you have a good man. I love Tyrese like he was my own, now when he brings his ass in here he's gone apologize for calling you a bitch cause I didn't raise no bitch, but you two also need to talk, that man loves you he's trying to protect your hard head ass," mama said as she scooped ice cream on top of my peach cobbler. She gave me my bowl and passed me a spoon.

Just as she was about to say something Tyrese came through the door. "Hey mama," he said. "Hey baby, now you know you in trouble," she said as she put her hands on her hips. I kissed her cheek. "I know mama I'm already knowing," he said as walked over to me a grabbed my hand. I looked deep into his eyes and he gave me a kiss on the lips.

"Baby I'm sorry for disrespecting you, I promise you I won't do that shit again, I love you T, you just be driving a nigga crazy, but I wanna tell you wants going on," he said.

I couldn't help but smile. "Really baby?" I asked as I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Yes baby, I wanna tell you what's up," he said as he rubbed my back. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you too," he said as he kissed me on the lips.

"See Taraji I told you you had a good man," mama said. "I know mommy I know," I said as I sat down and started eating my peach cobbler. "Tyrese you want some peach cobbler?" She asked. "Yeah mama of course," he said. "Well the chief left you some spaghetti and fish," mama said. "All right, let me go take my clothes off and I'll be back to eat," he replied.

"Okay son," mama said. "Taraji you want some more?" Mama asked. "Yes mommy I do," I laughed. "Girl you was hungry huh?" Mama asked. "Correction we was hungry, I'm feeding for three mommy," I said as I rubbed my tummy.

"I forgot about my grand babies, I'm ready for them to come out," Mama said as she sat down. "I am too I feel like a balloon," I said. Tyrese came behind me rubbed my belly, and kissed my neck. "You a pretty balloon though," he said.

"Tyrese how is everything going on with your book?" Mama asked. "It's going alright, hopefully it will be out by this weekend. I was having a few problems finding the right publisher," he said as sat down at the table with his plate.

"Baby, you want some juice or something to go with your food?" Mama asked getting up.
"Mama I got it," I said as I got up. "Baby you ain't gotta get up you good, I got it bae," he said getting up. "No I got it Ty, what you want to drink?" I asked as I grabbed a glass from the counter.

"Some apple juice," he replied. I went to the fridge and grabbed the bottle of apple juice. I poured some in his cup and sat it down in front of him. "Thanks baby," he said as he shoved some spaghetti in his mouth. I kissed his head. "Your welcome babe," I said as I put the juice back in the fridge.

"I'm spending a few night over here with-"

"Mama you ain't even gotta tell me all that you know you welcome here," he said as he wiped his mouth and sipped his juice. "I know but it's still called respect I don't want to just barge in your house," mama said.

"Nah mama you good," he responded. It warned my heart to see the connection between Tyrese and my mom. This is what made me fall in love with him. After we all finished eating, Chief came and cleaned our mess than we watched TV in the living room. I saw mama getting sleepy so I helped her get settled in the guest room across the hall from me and Ty's room.

After helping mama me and Ty took a hot shower together, then he rubbed my body down with my peach body butter. I threw on a thong and one of his tee shirts, while he laid in bed shirtless with just his boxers on. I put my phone on charge and cuddled up next to him. He wrapped one arm around my waist, and buried his head in the crook of my neck.

"Baby I been thinking, about what you said, and your right I can't have my being without you, we're soul mates. Your my everything, and with out you I'm nothing. I didn't want you to know what we was planning because I was trying to protect you, not make you feel like your not my partner, because you are my partner, your my rib babe, my back bone. And I honestly didn't mean to say the hurtful things that I said. It was out of order and disrespectful baby," he said.

"Ty baby I'm so sorry for being a pain in the ass, I just want us to be partners, were unstoppable together baby, I felt helpless and left out," I said as I turned around and caressed his head.

"Tonight when I saw El and Mary, Karruche and Aug, and Durrell and Rihanna I realized then I needed I my good luck charm," he said.

"Awe baby," I said as I gave him a long kiss on the lips. "So what's going on?" I asked. "Well Jennifer apparently isn't our weakest link, she doesn't know anything, all Common was doing was using her, and whenever she tried backing out he threatened to kill her son, he even sliced her face with a box cutter, she said she was in Chicago doing a taping for Oprah when Common called her and asked her to meet him at IHOP downtown, she had no idea what it was about but then when she got there he kept asking how she felt about me and her and how she felt when I left her to get back with you. She said she told him she didn't care because she was trying to rekindle a relationship with her sons father," he said.

"Wow so Common is doing all this for revenge?" I asked. "Yeah, his beef ain't with me apparently it's with you, but the nigga don't know we a team so when he got beef with you he got beef with us. She said he never really discussed what he was planning, but she did tell me that Common had something to do with Aug and Karruche's car accident," he said.

"Damn, so what we gone do babe?" I asked confused as hell. "Well Jennifer's on board she gone help us get this nigga. Her job is to play dumb basically. Make him think she's still working for him, but in reality she's gone be giving us all his information, whatever he got planned we gone know and we gone stop it before he gets to us," Ty replied.

"Sneaky me likey," I said. "Baby I'm glad you finally informed me on the low," I said. "You know I was gone have too sooner or later to ass crazy," he said laughing. "Shut up," I whined. "Come here with yo sexy ass," he said as he bit down on his bottom lip.

"So sexy," he whispered as he sucked on my ear lobe. I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him several pecks on the lips. "I love you," he said. "I love you too baby," I replied. "Mmmmm show me," he said licking his lips. "Come here with yo chocolate ass," I said as I laid on my back. Ty got on top of me and started sucking on my neck. We was gone be fucking all night long.
