Chapter 16

Taraji -

The next morning when I woke up, Tyrese wasn't in bed. I went to go take care of my hygiene, then I put on some comfortable shorts, and slid into my house shoes. I grabbed my phone and headed down stairs. To my surprise Tyrese was sitting at the piano with his music book writing. "Hey baby," I said as I sat down in his lap. "Hey baby," he replied. "What you doing?" I asked. "I have this little melody stuck in my head for Chris," he said.

"Let me hear it," I said. "Ask how many nights I been thinking of you, zero, zero, gave a hundred percent but all I got from you is zero zero," he sung. "Chris gone love that, he gone sing the hell out of that," I said. "Ikr, it's been stuck in my head all day, Aug want me to help him with his song today and then I have a meeting with Kanye later we launching my clothing line this fall," he said. "Awe baby I'm so proud of you," I said as I kissed his forehead. "I love you T," I said. "I love you too baby, I have to go to the set today, I'm so tired," I whined. "Yeah, you so sexy baby," he said as he started sucking on my neck. "I know," I replied. "Conceited ass," he said. I stuck out my tongue and he slapped me on the ass. "Baby that hurt!" I whined. He chuckled and I stuck my middle finger up. "Keep playing man," he laughed. "If I don't," I smirked. He got up and I ran up the stairs with him in tow. I swear I love his chocolate ass.

Tyrese -

"So Are you looking towards the outer wear, sporty or like suite and tie men's line?" Kanye asked. I took a sip of my wine and thought for a bit. "I mean we could mix it, do some of both sporty, business, and outer this is men's fashion. Like women have a whole line of stuff, purses, hats, shoes, so why can't the men have watches, ties, shoes, shorts, everything," I replied.

"Okay well first and for most, Pharrell is working things out with Adidas and Rihanna has puma they both looking to add onto their brands. Of course Versace and Kanye West corporations are looking to collaborate, money wise to kick this off we need 50k," Kanye said as he turned on his iPad.

"Okay, the money isn't an issue at all, I can get the 50k easily I just need to discuss things with Taraji that's my business partner, I want to make sure she knows what's going on," I said.

"That's good women like that, Kim knows all my business moves," he responded. "Yeah, Me and T soul mates so I want her best opinion on everything," I said.

"Okay cool, well you can set up another appointment with Norma and I'll see you then," he said as he got up with his hand stretched out. "Iight man thanks," I replied as I shook his hand. I loosened my tie and grabbed my folder. I was tired but my day wasn't even finished. I had to go to the taping of the show, I had an interview with Wendy Williams, and I was on Jimmy Kimmel show, on top of that I was working in the studio with Chris tonight, plus a basketball game with the guys. I had a long night ahead of me.

"Tyrese, are you excited about your new clothing line?" Norma asked. "Yeah I am, beyond excited," I said. "That's great I'm happy for you, Okay so Kanye is free next Thursday around noon, how does that sound?" Norma asked as she typed on an iPad.

"Sounds good to me," I replied. She wrote something down and gave me a business card. "Okay Tyrese, see you Thursday," she said. "Alright Nor, thanks," I replied. "Hey you wanna grab lunch?" I asked. "Uh yeah sure," she replied.

We decided on Olive Garden for lunch. "So you like working for Yeezy?" I joked as I stuffed a bread stick in my mouth. "Uh, it has it's perks, Kanye is a nice boss, plus I love meeting new celebrities, I worked in a meeting last week with Justin Bieber and Kanye, Justin is looking to find promoters for his Purpose tour, and Kanye was interested in having him on a song, and then last week I met up with Taylor Swift and Queen Latifah, so it's been cool," she replied.

"What about you are you happy in your careers?" She asked. "Yes I am actually I put the music on hold just to focus on fashion, and the tv show, and acting, and the book deal," I said.

"That's great I'm happy for you," Norma Said. "Thanks," I replied. "So how are things going with you and Taraji?" She asked. "Up and down but we team mates, she and going no where and neither am I, that's forever," I said.

"Awe young love," she said making me laugh. "Okay, well thanks for lunch Ty I got to get back to the office," she said as she put a hundred down on the table. "Awe naw don't worry about the bill I got it," I said.

"You sure?" She asked. "Yeah I got it," I replied. "Okay thank you," she replied. I finished my meal, paid for my food and then headed to Wendy Williams.

Norma -

I got in my car and Common was sitting waiting for me. "So you got him to have dinner?" He asked. "Babe yeah he offered," I said as I hopped on him and started kissing his neck. Nobody in the industry knew who my sons father was. Me and Common were married but we kept our business private from paparazzi and TMZ. "Norma, stop, stop!" He yelled as he pushed me off of him.

"Babe come on what's wrong?" I asked. "Norma stick to the damn script okay," he said. "Okay babe alright," I said. "When's the next time you gone meet him?" He asked. "Next Thursday," I replied. "You know what you supposed to do right?" He asked. "Yes I do," I replied. "Good, Jennifer's ass gone pay for being a traitor, I gotta get Adam on board, he's supposed to be on Empire's set today. Ive been laying low for a reason, all part of the plan. Im gone catch them bitches lacking, they gone regret fucking me over,"
