Chapter 18

Two weeks later

Tyrese -

I was happy that Taraji and the kids were finally able to come home. I loved getting up late at night making bottles for Shayla and Marcel. I had them in my arms night and day. I could tell Shayla was a daddy's girl, because whenever I went to put her down she started crying. She only wanted me to feed her, and bath her. She fussed with Taraji mostly all the time. Marcel on the hand was a momma's boy, he stayed on Taraji's lap twenty four seven.

"Man he gone be a momma's boy," I chuckled as I watched Taraji breast feed Marcel. "Boy shut up and leave my baby alone," she smirked. "Thank you baby," I said. "For what?" She asked as she looked up at me. "Giving me two beautiful babies," I said. "Awe baby, your welcome," she said as she got up and put Marcel in his bassinet. I put Shayla in hers, and me and T cuddled up next to each other.

"Baby, ugh I don't wanna go to work tomorrow, I wanna stay at home with you and my babies," she whined as she straddled my lap. "I know babe but you got to do what you got to do," I said as I kissed her lips. "Uhm, baby the kids are sleep, and I got a couple hours before I leave," she said as she sucked on my neck. "What you trynna get into?" I laughed. "You," she said as she grabbed my crotch. I turned her over on her back. "You can't be screaming baby," I said as I started taking off my clothes. "It's all on you," she said. "Well then shit, you scream you scream,"

Taraji -

"Okay, Taraji, Adam, you two need to spend time together more so that the connection will be there. I know you guys worked with Tyler Perry, but that's been a while," Lee said.

"Yes me and Adam hasn't hung out in a while," I said. "Yeah we got this Lee," Adam chuckled. "Okay I'm gone leave you too to get to work," Lee said.

"Okay Cookie you ready?" Adam asked. "Yes," I said. "Look Cookie, you need to find a hot revenue for this cookout," Adam said. "Okay but Laz where the hell am I going to find one, I can't go back to the park because I held Luscious's concert there," I said.

"Baby we'll find something okay," he said. Adam stepped back and put his hand over his face. "What?" I said. "It's a kissing scene T," he said. "Adam, come on we're just friends, this is work okay, and if you think this is about Tyrese he understands," I said.

"Baby we'll find something else," he said as he grabbed my waist and leaned into me. I closed my eyes and he gave me several pecks on the lips. I was getting all hot and bothered. I have always been attracted to Adam, but never went there because of my relationship with Tyrese.
Adam was so fucking sexy, and he spoke that language of love. Just as Adam deepened the kiss, my phone started ringing. It was a face time from Ty. "Taraji, I'm gone step out okay," Adam said. I nodded my head and answered the call.

"Hey baby you good?" Ty asked. "Yeah I'm fine tired," I said. "You okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm good where's my babies?" I asked. "Downstairs with my mom and your mom, Marcel miss ya ass he been crying all damn day," he said.

"Awe I miss my baby boy too, I miss both my babies," I said. "Damn you don't miss daddy?" He asked. "Yes I miss you too baby," I said. "Alright mommy just wanted to hear your voice I'm gone let you get back to work," he said. "Okay baby love you," I said. "Love you too," I replied.

"Okay Taraji, You have to do an interview tonight, it's basically a preview for tomorrow's episode," Lee said as both him and Adam came in. "Okay that's fine with me," I said. "Alright let's get this scene in the bed," Lee said. The scene in the bed between me and Adam was really intimate, I had to take several breaks because Tyrese kept flashing in my mind when I went to kiss Adam. This was not good, this was affecting my work, and my money was my priority. Yes I loved the hell out of Tyrese but I don't let anything come between me and my money. I took my ring off and put it in my pocket so that I could focus and get this scene right.

Once we got done, my make up did my hair and I got ready for my interview. The interview took a half hour. I was so fucking tired. Once I got done me Jussie, Ta' Rhonda and Yazz went out for lunch.

I was scrolling on my Instagram account when Empire Fox's page posted a new video and tagged Taraji and Adam in it. I pressed play.

"So Taraji what type of relationship do you and Adam or Cookie and Laz had on set?" The interviewer asked. "On set Cookie and Laz has an intimate relationship, Laz is everything Cookies looking for in a guy, she's falling in love, off set were just friends," Taraji said.

"So out of all the guys that you've worked with who do you have an intimate connection with?" She asked again. "Most definitely Adam, he's very out going funny, friendly he's a cutie pie," she said. My smile instantly turned to a frown. I went to Taraji's Instagram and I didn't like all these pictures and videos that Taraji had took with Adam on set, but I didn't trip, i told myself I was gone trust Taraji and know that she wasn't gone do anything to harm this relationship. I had hella trust issues, but I vowed to never walk out on T and the kids again. I just prayed to God she didn't do no fucked up shit.

Taraji-

After my lunch with the gang, I made my way back home. The minute I walked through the door, I was greeted by my mom. "Hey baby," mama said.

"Hey mommy what you doing up?" I asked. "I was waiting on you making sure you got in safe," mama said. "Awe thanks mommy, I'm about to go shower and then eat, where's my babies?" I asked.

"All of them are upstairs," she said. "Okay mommy love you goodnight," I said as I made my way upstairs. "Goodnight baby," she said.

"Hey," Ty greeted the minute he saw me. "Hey baby, what's up?" I asked as I gave him a peck on the lips. "Nun tired I missed you," he said. "I missed you too," I said. "How was your day?" He asked it was good I said as I rubbed his cheek. He grabbed my hand and looked back up at me.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked. "why you not wearing your ring?" He asked. "Oh shit thank you baby I forgot to put it back on," I said as I reached into my back pocket and slipped it back on. "Why you take it off?" He asked. "I was working on this scene with Adam-"

"Adam huh?" He chuckled. "Baby please don't start," I said. "Don't start what?" He asked. "Your insecurities baby, every time I'm working with somebody you go crazy, I thought we was passed the trust issues?" I asked.

"We are T, I ain't saying nothing else," he said. "See you always wanna argue Tyrese," I said as I changed my clothes. "I'm not arguing Taraji, I let it go okay," he said. "Ugh, I guess Tyrese," I said as I turned out my light and rolled over. I really hoped he didn't go back to having trust issues again.
