I feared today. Today the boys, my boys, came to visit. Even 2 weeks after I had broke it off they all wanted to come visit and were dragging along Logan in hopes of us getting back together. My parents had gone on vacation, same with Lexi and her family. The last semester was over so I was staying at my parents. I was making sure the guest rooms were ready and that we had enough food when the doorbell rang. I froze. They were here.
I left the kitchen walking down the short hall. I reached my hand out slowly, hearing voices outside the door. I opened the door and there they stood. I didn't get a good look because I was engulfed in a hug.
"CARTER!" Carlos yelled, dragging out the 'r'. He lifted me up.
"Put me down!" I laughed, hitting him as I hugged him. He put my down and smiled. I returned the smile before James walked up.
"Jaime!" I hugged him.
"I missed you. You look different, in a good way." He said, smiling.
"What no hug for me?" Kendall said.
"Nope, not for you." I joked before hugging him. He moved out of the way and there stood Logan. He didn't look any different. We locked gazes and I couldn't pull myself to look away. I thought that when we saw each other I would jump in his arms and we'd kiss. I still loved him as much as I ever had. I literally felt a snap in my chest. It felt like there was a huge weight on my chest, preventing me from breathing. He quickly diverted his eyes.
"Uh," I cleared my throat, "I'll show you guys to the guest r-" I was cut off by a squeal.
"Logie Bear, I need you to help me with my bags!" A girl with a high voice said as she skipped into the doorway. She jumped on Logan, wrapping her legs around him before kissing him. I ignored the pain in my chest as he kissed her. I think James noticed because he coughed loudly and they pulled away.
"Okay, baby." I flinched when he called her 'baby'. I swallowed the lump in my throat. He left to get her bags, where everyone else had their bags already.
"Go claim your rooms." I told the boys. They fought to pick up their bags and get down the hall first. I smiled as Carlos tripped over Kendall's bag and James jumped on Kendall's back.
The blonde girl before me stuck out a hip and crossed her arms, looking me up and down.
"I don't know what Logan ever saw in you." She sighed dramatically, rolling her eyes and flipping her hair over her shoulder.
"Logan knows the way to the rooms." I mumbled before heading to find James. I knocked on the door and he looked up, smiling. It faltered when he saw me. I took a shaky breath. He came over to me, wrapping me in his arms.
"Hey, hey don't cry little girl. Things will get better." He whispered in my ear.
"I don't think they will." I whispered back. I don't see how James and Halston were able to do this. Being apart changes people.
.
"And then one time, Carlos left his snapback at the concessions and when he went to get it, he was mobbed!" Kendall laughed.
"It was SCARY, okay? Those Rushers were vicious." Carlos tried to defend but broke into a grin. We all burst out laughing. Carlos, James, Kendall, and I were currently in the kitchen catching up. I sat on the counter, Kendall leaning against it. James and Carlos sat at the table. Logan and Olivia were watching TV in their room, apparently. I took a swig of my soda.
"I have no stories to tell." I fake pouted. James went to say something when Logan walked in. We all looked at him. He ignored us and went over to the fridge, grabbing a soda and leaving. I stared at the door, biting my lip.
"We all know you still like him." James said quietly.
"I know." I sighed. Logan returned a few seconds later.
"Do you have any diet sodas? Olivia only drinks diet." He said. I rolled my eyes.
"Have you ever seen me drink diet soda in my life, Logan?" He glared at me before leaving the room.
.
“Hot Stuff, come sit by me!” Olivia pouted, patting the seat next to her.
“Okay, Liv.” Logan smiled, sitting next to her and pulling her onto his lap.
“Pet names already?” I muttered, rolling my eyes. Olivia pulled Logan towards her, kissing him. “Keep the PDA to a minimum please.”
“You're just jealous you aren’t on my lap, aren’t ya Carter?” Logan smirked.
“You wish.” I glared.
"Nope you do."
"Shut your mouth, Pretty Boy."
"Don't tell me what to do."
"This is my parent's house, therefore I can."
"I'm 23, I do what I want."
"If management or Nickelodeon says so." I sassed, crossing my arms. Logan went to reply.
"Will you guys just shut it?!" Kendall snapped. We all shut up.
"Can we throw a party?" Carlos asked suddenly, preventing an awkward silence.
"We could play music and dance and eat food." James agreed.
"Seems fine to me." I said and everyone nodded. Kendall called a few of his friends that he knew around here and they showed up 10 minutes later. That gave us enough time to set out drinks and chips and start up the music. Everyone was dancing, having a good time. There wasn't a lot of people but it was still fun.
I held my cup to my lips and took a sip but quickly spit it out. That was definately NOT soda. I walked over to Carlos and we started dancing really wierdly.
"Wanna make a keek?" He asked. I nodded and we made a keek of us singing and dancing while Kendall made a few Vines. I turned around to see Liv and Logan making out, on my mom's couch. Gross. I felt a tug in my chest. Why am I not over him? I suddenly had a really bad headache. I headed down to the basement. It was colder down here and it felt good. I sat on the cold leather couch and turned on the TV. An old movie was on. I turned upside down, sticking my feet over top of the couch. I stared at the TV screen.
It's strange how being apart from the one you love- loved in Logan's case- can change the two people. He had fallen for Olivia and I couldn't change that. I fell asleep with one thought.
I will get over you, Logan Henderson.
.
I threw a plastic red cup in the trash bag. We were in the middle of cleaning up the mess we made last night. How can like 10 people make such a mess? We still had music playing. Carlos and James were singing along. I was throwing a napkin away when a new song started. I wasn't really paying attention but I soon noticed the song.
Give me love like her, 'cause lately I've been waking up alone.
My eyes were wide and my head snapped up as I realized the song was Give Me Love. I ran towards the radio at the same Logan. We collided but fumbled with the buttons. We accidently turned the volume up, flinching. Finally, I pulled the cord out of the wall socket.
My eyes met with Logan's and we stared at each other. He cleared his throat and walked away. What I told myself last night?
That was a complete and totally utter lie.
That chapter was kinda choppy, sorry! I posted cuz @SusanSchmidt posted and I bribd her with this chapter :D
