Carter's POV
"Logan, why is it so important I remember what happened last night?" I sghed, running a hand through my hair. I bent over to look in the fridge, frowning. "We're out of milk." Now I can't have my late night cookies and milk. If my parents were here, they would have milk. an, why did they have to extend their vacation from 2 weeks in Paris to flying to Hawaii for 2 more weeks?
"It's just that I heard remembering what happens when you're drunk helps your hangover.." Logan said. As he said that, I winced at the pain in my head. The medicine from this morning was wearing off. I got an Advil and washed it down with water. "I had a few drinks, danced with Lexi and my friends, and jumped in the pool. And I only know that last part thanks to Issac."
I walked down the hall to my room, Logan following like a lost puppy. I turned around quickly, leaning against my door frame. He muttered something I couldn't understand.
"Hm?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, uh,"
"Tell me."
"It's just that when Issac brought you and Lexi home, your lipstick was smudged-"
"Logan, I jumped in a pool."
"But Issac had a red smudge on his lips!" I coughed as soon as he said that, shocked.
"Ew! He's like a brother to me, nothing more nothing less. Logan, I swear I would never kiss Issac, even in a drunken stage." I told him and a small smile appeared on his lips. "But, why would it matter? We aren't dating, right?" I asked. He looked me in the eyes.
"We can be." He whispered, taking a small step towards me. My mouth hung open, unable to speak.
Just say yes!
I can't! He broke my heart and went out with Olivia!
But you both love each other.
That, that right there. I love him, that should be enough, right? I took a breath.
"Do you love me?" I asked, standing up from the door frame. I could tell he was a little shocked by the question.
"Yes, more than anything in the world. I never stopped loving you, I tried to believe I didn't love you but your just to perfect not to love." He told me, grabbing my hands. "I love the way you push your hair out of your face, even though it's really long and you refuse to get anything but a trim. I love how when you laugh you cover your mouth because you don't like your laugh even though it's like music to my ears."
"I love how you hate the crust on your bread and refuse to watch the Titantic because it makes you cry. I love how your so strong after your past even though I know part of you is still broken. I love how you raise your eye brow when you question what I do. And I love how you do a cute little victory dance when you get food." He paused to laugh lightly and the corners of my mouth tugged up in a small smile. "The first day I met you, I was shocked how much alike we were and how much I liked you within 5 seconds. When we were split up it took all I had not to shove Olivia away from me and grab your hips and kiss you. I just want to forget the past and focus on the present, with you."
"Carter Nicole Johnson, I love you. I promise I will never hurt you again, ever, and that I will always love you, no matter what. All you have to do is say yes and my life will be complete." He looked in my eyes seriously. I was still shocked from everything he had said. "Will you be my girlfriend again?"
Say yes!
"Logan, it's going to take a lot more for me to trust you fully again." I told him and his face instantly fell. "So yes." I smiled. His face lit up, a big smile on his lips, his dimples showing.
"Yes?" He asked, excitedly.
"Yes." I repeated, moving my arms up to his neck. I pressed my lips to his, my eyes closing. He kissed back instantly, our lips moving in sync. The puzzle piece that has been missing for the past 6 months and 2 weeks was finally back. He pushed me against the door holding onto my waist tightly. I felt the door open behind me. I started walking backwards, Logan following.
"I love you." He breathed out as we took a break to breathe.
"I love you more." I winked, kissing him again.
.
I wrapped my hair up in a bun, getting it out of my face. I pulled on a pair of pajama shorts, even though it was morning. I glanced at Logan, where he was still sleeping on my bed, wrapping in my sheets like a burrito. I let out a small laugh as drool ran down his face.
I walked out of my room, tying Logan's shirt in the back with a hair tie. If I didn't, it would look like I had no pants on. I yawned as I walked into the kitchen, seeing grocery bags on the counter. Carlos and Kendall were sitting at the table, eating.
"Hi." Kendall mumbled, taking another bite of his Lucky Charms.
"Morning."
"We wanted food so we went shopping. We bought it so you have to put it away." Carlos laughed. I sent him a glare but quickly laughed when I noticed his milk mustache. I started putting the food away, throwing away the empty bags when I was done. At one point Logan walked in, kissing my cheek before fixing some waffles and joining Carlos and Kendall at the table. I put some toast in the toaster, taking out the butter. When it was down I put on the butter and took a bite.
"That's all you're eating?" James asked, walking in, Fox trailing behind him.
"Not that hungry." I shrugged, taking another bite.
"So did you have fun last night?" Carlos asked, grinning and looking between Logan and I. I choked on the piece of bread I was swallowing, taking a gulp of my orange juice.
"Uh, er.." Logan stuttered. My cheeks heated up and I looked at my lap
"Aw poor Carter Cat is blushing! What you don't wanna admit you and Logan-" Kendall started.
"Just shut up!" I cut him off, throwing a wooden spoon I had grabbed off the counter at him, hitting him square in the nose. I hopped off the counter, hurrying to my room. I shut the door behind me, sighing. My phone rang from my night stand. I picked it up, seeing a new text.
From Logan- Get ready, we're going on a picnic :) <3
