Logan's POV
We were all eating dinner, which consisted of garlic bread, salad, and some organic spaghetti that Kendall and Carter had made. We all ate in silence, except for Liv who kept saying comments about how the food tasted wierd. I could tell Carter was getting annoyed. Her jaw was clenched.
"Do you guys know how many carbs are in this? I can't believe you're eating it!" Liv exclaimed. Carter shot up from her seat, her chair scraping loudly behind her.
"Will you just SHUT UP?! We don't care if there are carbs in this, it's food! If anything I should be worried since I'm the model here!" She yelled at Liv.
"Don't yell at her!" I exclaimed.
"I do what I want." She glared, throwing her dishes in the sink. "And I don't have management or a fake Barbie telling me what to do."
"No one cares, Carter! Calling people names won't help."
“Why are you being so…so,” Carter started, frustrated.
“So what?”
“So not you!”
“Like you’re any different!” I replied dryly
“If anyones not being theirselves, it's you.”
“No, it's not! You’re avoiding me, snapping at my every move, glaring at me! What we had is the past! Get over it!"
She stays silent. “It’s not my fault.” She whispered.
“Yes it is! You’re the one who broke it off! I’m happy without you!”
“Because you were halfway across the world, fake datin’ a girl!” After everything she still had her Texan accent.
“God you annoy me! It’s called work!” Was she seriously fighting about this?
“I work too! And at least I tried to make us work!” She threw her arms in the air.
“I did too!”
“Don’t you lie to me!” She yelled, taking a step towards me. “I know there has to be some points where you’ve spent playing video games or laying around on your phone! James has told me!”
“What am I’m supposed to call you every second of the day?”
“No but you’re supposed to try! I had so much to tell you, I NEEDED YOU AND YOU GO AROUND RIGHT AFTER WE BREAK UP PLAYING AROUND WITH OLIVIA!”
"DON'T ACT LIKE I'M THE ONLY BAD ONE! I KNOW YOU LIKE THAT GINGER GUY AND YOU AND JAMES HAVE SPENT A TON OF TIME TOGETHER!"
"I only like Ed's music, god! James is like a brother to me! He was there when you were kissing Olivia right in front of me!"
“YOU BROKE UP WITH ME! THIS IS YOUR FAULT! I DON'T LIKE YOU, OKAY? IN FACT, I HATE YOU!” She mumbled something I couldn’t understand.
“What was that?”
“Nothing.”
“Tell me.”
“No.”
“Tell me what you s-!”
“YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY I BROKE UP WITH YOU, LOGAN? BECAUSE I WAS SCARED OF GETTING HURT! YOU WERE HALFWAY ACROSS THE WORLD HAVING TO KISS ANOTHER GIRL!” She screamed, surprising me, surprising all of us. “I WAS TERRIFIED YOU WOULD FIND SOMEONE BETTER THAN ME AND I JUST COULDN’T TAKE IT!” Carter’s voice broke as she finished.
“So you didn’t trust me?” I retorted.
She was on the verge of tears. I could tell. “I did. It’s just-“
