Sair:

I fell asleep before I even got to undress. The sheets were so soft, even though I just meant to lie down for a minute. But dozing off is one of my talents, and it didn’t fail me this time either. So the next morning, I was woken up by my sister.

“Sair!”, she shouted, and jumped on top of me, shaking me until I was sitting up, trying to push her off me.

“What, what, I’m awake”, I forced my eyes to stay open.

“Where were you last night?! Mum and dad were furious when you did’t come home with me!”.  Cassidy continued to shake me by the shoulders, until I took her hands and made her stop.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry”, I yawned. “Let me have the chance to say something...”, I took a deep breath, and tried my best to wake up as much as possible. “I was with the rest of the girlfriends”.

“The rest of the...”, Cassidy’s mouth hung open. “You chose them over us?!”.

“I didn’t really have a choice Cass”.

“Well, why didn’t you ask us to come with you?!”.

“You had front row seats, and I did try calling Dawn but it was too late”. I was calm, choking back yawn after yawn as I talked. Cassidy tried to get her words out, but she was apparently so shocked only noises came out when she tried to yell at me. “I’m sorry Cass”, I mumbled, patting her shoulder. She sighed, and finally seemed to calm down at last.

“I didn’t even get to meet Harry”, she sighed, and I couldn’t help but giggle a little at how helpless she made it sound.

“I’m sorry”, I smiled, trying to hide it. My phone chimed from the bed side table. It was Dawn of course. I reached for it, and got ready to hear the same disappointment. Cassidy walked out of my room, a little less than excited than before. I sat back in my bed. “Hi Dawn”.

“Sair?!”.

“Yes?”.

“You’re home?!”.

“Yes?”.

“I tried to call you over and over again last night!”.

“I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry”.

“When did you go home? We tried calling you, but you didn’t reply, so we didn’t wait, and then Cassidy started worrying, and I thought you were probably with Niall, and last night when you called me during the concert, I just...”,

“Dawn!”, I shouted, making her stop. “Breathe”. She did as I told her, and I heard her breath into the phone. “I had to sit with their girlfriends”, I then said.
