Bye.
One word, three letters.
But it was the hardest thing in the world. Goodbye to my friends, my dance studio and my life.
As I slowly walked though my almost empty, slightly dark dance studio. Remembering all the amazing memories I made throughout my time here. I started when I was 3 and now aged 16, I truly felt that this place was my home. When I was here, I was home. They would always be my family.
I turned towards the costume closet, remembering all the times I spent messing around with my friends trying on silly costumes. As I opened the door, I was greeted by the amazing sound of my friends. It was an unspoken rule we always met here before anything important and for me this would be the last time. The last time with my friends in England, finally I said my goodbyes and promises to stay in contact.
To say I didn't cry would be a lie but I knew my friends supported me and loved me and that was good enough for me.
Goodbye England, Hello Canada!
