chapter two

Skylars P.O.V.

I just looked at her.
She was amazingly beautiful. Her pale skin, flawless. Her dark green eyes speckled with golden flecks. Her long red hair flowing down her back. Her tall physique, slim, but not scrawny. She was also head and shoulders taller than me.
I was mezmerized, I didn't  know people this beautiful even existed.

"Well are you gonna introduce yourself, or just keep staring at me like that?" she laughed at me.

I slid my hand In hers, her skin was soft and warm.

"Hi I'm Skylar, its nice meeting you."I said, blushing a little.

"I'm Jessie! Its nice to meet you too." she said as she squeezed my hand lightly before letting go.

"How are you guys liking missiouri?" I questioned.

"Its great, very pretty!" she said cheerfully.

"Yeah it is. Where are you guys moving from?" I asked as I lean against the door frame.

"Minnesota." she said nodding her head.
Beofre I could say anything else a giant man standing in her drive way called for her.

"Oh that's my dad, I got to go help unpack the moving truck." she said glancing back at him,  "Maybe you can show me around some time." she said looking back at me, and gave me a wink.

"Uh yeah sure anytime. Just let me know when your free?" I said with a smile.
She turned away as she replied.
"Sure thing, See ya around." she said and waved at me without looking back.

I watched as She quickly strode towards her house. Taking long steps.

She is gorgeous... Wait don't think about her like that. I don't like girls... At least I think I don't..
I thought to myself, but quickly shook it off and walked back inside.

"Who was at the door honey?" My dad asked me as I walked back in the kitchen and sat down.

"It was one of our new neighbors" I said as I smiled at him.

"Oh? What was this neighbor like?" he questioned, sound slightly curious but not enough to actually care.
He wasnt really one to be social or interested in neighbors.
His opinion? They come. They go. Why get caught up when they leave anyway?

"She seemed nice. She couldn't talk long though." I said, as I sat down to finish my coffee.

I could tell he didn't ask Cause he was interested,
He just picked up his coffee and continued to sip it.
I frowned at him and took the last drink of my coffee before getting up and setting it in the sink.

"I'm going to the store soon, if you want to come with me." He said sort of asking.

"Actually I was thinking about going to hang out with danny."
Danny is my best friend, I've know him since second grade.
"Oh okay", he sounded slightly bummed, "well have fun." he said before getting up and ushering to his room.
I strode out the house, after snatching up my phone from the counter, and shut the door behind me.
It was suprisingly nice outside today. Not too hot but not cold either. As I walked down the side walk I felt the Sun hittting one side of my body. It was nice.
Danny only lived a few houses away, so didn't need to drive and I got there quickly.

  I knocked on his door, he opened it not long after and stepped aside to let me in.

Danny, a tall, muscular boy with black hair, chiseled features and a deep voice turn and follwed me to his living room.
A large spacious area with grey furnishing and a nice sized t.v. on the opposite wall of the couch.

"How are you this morning, mouse?" he asked as we plopped on his couch and turned on the tv.

"Good, I met one of my neighbors not long ago."

"Cool. What are we doing today?" He question.

"Netflix!" I gleamed as I gestured towards the tv.

"Okay well we need snacks and stuff." He said trying to get me to get them.

"Go get em!" I said and switched to Netflix.

He groan as he got up. He returned moments later with Dr peppers and popcorn.

" American Horror Story or Grey's anatomy?" I asked before stuffing popcorn in my mouth.

"American Horror Story." He confirmed.

I nodded my head and turned on the episode we were on the previous time.

We watched Netflix all day and before long I had to go home.

" are you going to the concert Friday?" Danny asked me before I left.
Danny was bass  in a band him and his brother had put together with a few other guys. They werent big yet but he assured me It was gonna be any day now before They were.

"I don't know. It depends if my dad will let me go or not." I said as I walked out the door.

"Bring new people if you can!" he demanded.

"Okay, I'll try." I laughed and walked home.
