Maybe This Was A Sign

I woke up a couple hours later and I  am guessing Soda convinced them to let him in because he was asleep in the chair next to my bed. He looks so peaceful and stress free when he sleeps. I sat there for a while picking at my nail polish, that was the only thing I had to do I was so bored. After about a half hour Soda woke up. I threw a pillow at his head and screamed "Good morning sunshine!" We fell over cracking up and when he calmed down he said ''It's midnight smarty." "Exactly" I said proving my point.

'Did the nurse tell you" I started.

"Yeah" he said as he instantly frowned.

"Well maybe it just meant that we need to wait, it might just be a sign" I continued trying to make him feel better "True, do you think we could talk about something else." "Sure" I replied wanting to brighten his mood

"They said you can come home at about eight today."

"Really" I said. I am so exited that in eight hours I can go home and back to work.

"Yeah, and if you are okay to work I have your uniform with me."

"Thanks, come sit down" I said while patting the spot next to me on the bed. He got up and sat next to me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his chest. He layed back and we started to talk. Eventually it was eight. Soda reminded me and I got up to change. "Nice ass" he said and I quickly closed up the back of the hospital gown. " Nothing I haven't seen before" he  said as he winked. I rolled my eyes and walked into the little bathroom on the other end of the room. I changed into my DX shirt, cutoff jean shorts that were much too short and a pair of converse. I tied my hair into a messy bun and fixed the old makeup on my face. It hurt to walk but I could manage, my job doesn't require too much walking. I had stitches on my stomach, what did I ever do to deserve this. I walked out and spun around. Soda picked me up and walked me out of the room and to the front desk. He carried me the whole time even when I was doing the paper work, they finally let me go and he carried me to the car. We shortly arrived at the DX and reported to work.

Time went by quickly but I was still bored. I decided to go find Soda so we could "take our lunch break" if ya know what I'm saying. I walked into the back room and found him making out with another girl. Thant girl just so happened to be the devil herself Sandy. "WHAT THE HELL!!" I screamed as I slammed the door shut and stormed back behind the counter and sat on the floor. I couldn't hold back my tears anymore I cried about everything, everything that has been on my mind
