Things Are Finally Back To Normal...Or Are They?

I woke up the next morning with Soda's arm wrapped around me. I felt him start to stir and he woke up. I whispered "I love you" in his ear and lightly bit his earlobe. He pulled me in close to him and started to kiss me. We pulled away from each other and just talked for a while. I really couldn't believe what we had done last night. Well whatever, it's okay...right. We got out of bed and I threw on one of Soda's big white T-shirts over my bra and underwear. We walked out into the living room hand in hand and sat down on the couch. We were then greeted by the gang's whistling and cheering. "Shut up or I will kick your heads in" I said to them as I scooted closer to Soda and sat on his lap. "okay" said Two Bit " all I was doing was trying to make aa joke" he added "I don't give a damn. It's not funny what me and Soda do is our personal business and it's not for you to joke about" I said slightly raising melt voice. He just ignored my comment and stuffed his face with chocolate cake. I got teat annoyed when the gang made fun of me and Soda. I love him and he loves me can't we just be a couple without being made tum of. They never did that when he was with Sandy. What's so different with me. I got up and told Soda that I have to go home and shower and check in with my mom. "You want me to drive you" he asked. "sure" I replied. I went into his room and hot dressed and went back out into the living room and we left. Soda pulled up infront of my house and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before I got out of the car. I ran up the front porch and into my house hoping that I wouldn't get yelled at. I started walking through my living room and I saw my dad sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper, he slammed down his newspaper and said "What the hell is your problem where are you, you're. never home anymore." "I am just spending some time with my friends" I said calmly in reply. "WELL YOU NOW WHAT I AM SICK AND TIERD OF YOU HANGING OUT WITH DALLAS WINSTON AND HIS GANG, ALL THATS GOING TO CPME OUT OF IT IS YOU GETTING IN LEGAL TROUBLE OR EVEN WORSE" he screamed at me. "Why are you so mad at me all the sudden" I said slightly raising my voice. "Just get out of my sight" he said in a normal tone "fine. I hats you" I muttered. under my breath as I walked up to my room. I showered and got dressed and then walked back over to Soda's. When I got there I overheard him and Steve talking. Soda said that he was going to propose to me. I couldn't. believe it. Steve said that Soda should totally propose and that we would be perfect together. I had no clue what to do. I ran over to Evie's and told her all about what went on in the past few days. what should I love him but I don't know if I am ready to marry anyone yet. This is a real tough decision that I will have to really think about. Will I be able to even talk to him for a while. Maybe I will have to end it. between us and just be friiend because I can't handle this, it's too stressful
