Can It Be,My Best Friend (Sodapop Curtis Love Story)

Married Life

I woke up the next Morning with Sodapop sprawled across the bed next to me. I glanced at the clock 7:08. Perfect I had just enough time to get ready.

I got up out of bed and walked to the master bathroom and got in the shower.

The though finally occurred to me that I was married. This is my house with Sodapop and this is where I belong now. This is my life now.

I got out of the shower and went to go get ready. I decided to wear high waisted Levi cutoff shorts with a Beatles concert shirt tucked into them and a pair of black converse. I blow dried my hair and applied some natural looking make up.

I went over to the bed to wake up Soda it was 7:37 now. He quickly ran past me into the bathroom and emerged ten minutes later with a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. I couldn't help but stare as he got dressed.

He was finished quickly and said let's go I have work and you have a test.

We ran out to his truck and were on our way.

He dropped me off in front of the school and I ran in. I got in the class room just in time to take my test.

The test was over and me and Evie walked over to the DX cause I needed to borrow Soda's car to go food shopping.

I walked into the DX and the little bell on the door rang. I walked into the car garage and approached Soda. He saw me and gave me a peck on the lips.

"Hey Soda can I use the car I need to go food shopping?'' I questioned

"Sure." He said as he handed me the keys.

"Okay see you when it's time for my shift." I said while walking out of the DX.

I drove to the supermarket and Evie tagged along. I went through the isles picking out everything me and Soda would need at home. Once I was done I went to go check out and I went home and put everything away.

I quickly went upstairs and changed into my DX shirt and fixed my hair and makeup.

Then I decided to do some unpacking and soon enough it was time to go to work.

Soda and I walked through the door to our house tired and hungry. I made some dinner for us and we ate while talking about our day.

After dinner was done and cleaned up we went upstairs to go to bed.

I stripped out of my clothes and but one of Sodas white T-shirts on as pajamas.

I crawled into bed next to Soda and as I was close to going to sleep he whispered into my ear "I love you and you're the most perfect and beautiful wife in the world and I couldn't have asked for better."

I smiled at his kind words and drifted to sleep cuddled up to Soda with his arms wrapped around me.
