I patiently waited for Jay to arrive. Nina and Haley are sleeping, so we would be alone.

I heard the door rattle, and then Jay walked in with a bouquet of red roses. I smiled brightly.

"Hey babe! What are those for?" I asked while getting up to go give him a kiss. Luckily I was able to schedule a ultrasound this morning, so I planned of giving Jay a picture of the baby. The doctor said I was about ten weeks along, and everything was going good.

"Just thought I'd give you a little something special." He said, handing me the bouquet. "Very sweet of you! Thank you!" I said giving him one more kiss before going to go get a vase.

Once I got a vase, I put the flowers in it and set it down on the table. I walked over to the couch and sat down. Jay did the same.

"So what did you want to talk about?" He asked. I pulled out the picture from my jeans pocket and handed it to him. At first his face was confused, then normal, then confused again, then shocked, then happy but still shocked. "You're pregnant?" He asked. I smiled and nodded my head 'yes'. He got up from the couch and paced back and fourth. My smile faded, and so did his.

"Everything alright?" I finally asked. Jay stopped pacing and looked me straight in the eyes. "I'm happy, very happy actually. But I'm also scared." He said. "Me too." "I mean, I know nothing about being a dad. I mean, what if we have a girl? I can't braid hair, I don't know what matches what. I mean look at me, I'm in a black and red plaid shirt with a pair of gray sweats with a pair of green converse." He said. I sighed. "I just wanted to tell you." I said. He didnt say anything. "You know, you don't have to stay, right? If you don't want to be apart of this baby's life, I completely understand. Sure it's going to be hard telling him or her in the future about where his or her dad is, but I'll manage. You're in a band, your career is going amazingly well and I don't want this baby to ruin you from pursuing your dream."

Jay started to tear up, then he sat back down next to me and hugged me closely.

"I'm not going to leave you. I want to be apart of this baby's life. I'm just scared because I know nothing. But we will get through this together, and I promise to not leave your side." Then he kissed my cheek and hugged me again. "That means a lot." I said.

Jay pulled away and he was actually crying. "I'm going to be a dad!" He said with a huge smile. His pale face was the color of a tomato, from happiness. I cried with him. "We're going to be parents." The word 'parents' seemed to linger in the air and it sent another shiver up my spine.

Jay held my hands. "I want you to know that I will always be by your side. I promise." Then he kissed me again. I pulled away and rested my forehead on his.

"This is crazy!" I whispered. "I know, but in a good way." He whispered back. We pulled away just as Nina was walking out int the living room.

"I'm guessing you told him, judging by the red faces and the picture that is resting on the coffee table?" "I did!" I said. "We're going to be parents!" Jay said while fist pumping the air. We all laughed and Nina sat down on the chair across from us. "I say we invite the lads over to tell them about the great news, and have a nice dinner." I said. "Today or tomorrow?" Jay asked. "Tomorrow, of course!" I said. "It's a date."

~Tomorrow~

~Nina's POV~

Seeing Jay and Jade so happy made me want to keep the secret even more. Tom, Nathan, Max, Siva, and Nareesha would be arriving soon for a dinner that Jay and Jade had planned.

I wanted to tell Tom tonight, but in private. Like get him to help me with dishes or something.

I could smell the ziti baking in the oven, and Jade cooking the meatballs on the stove top in the sauce. I could eat it all.

I wore a loose fitting high-low black dress with a pair of black gladiator sandals and braided my long brown hair in a braid.

I set the table, and made the chef salad. And before you knew it, the lads and Nareesha were pouring in.

We all said our hellos and Nathan came up to me and gave me a special hello: a long passionate kiss.

"Get a room!" Max called out, causing everyone in the room to burst out in laughter and make Nath and I blush.

Jade came out of the kitchen and removed her apron to reveal a comfy white cabled sweater, with a pair of black leggings and a pair of black moccasins.

She said her hellos and then she had us all sit around the table. Her and Jay stood in the front of the room, Jays arm wrapped around her waist while holding her close.

"Hey everyone! Jay and I have great news!" Jade began. "We're going to be parents!" Jay said. The room burst out in congratulations and a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo.

Tom sat across from me, occasionally glancing in my way and giving me a little smile here and there. Haley was sat next to him and she had no clue what was going on.

Once dinner was finished, I went into the kitchen to clean up the dishes.

"Do you need help?" I heard someone ask behind me. I turned around and it was Tom holding a towel rag. "Sure." I said. Everyone was out in the living room, talking and laughing while I'm just here figuring out what the hell I'm going to do.

"So, how have you been?" Tom asked, obviously making small talk as he dried the dishes that I handed him.

"I've been alright. How about you?" I asked. "Alright. I keep thinking about that night. I feel awful." He said.

Okay, now is my chance to tell him. But do I blurt it out? Or do I somehow sneak it into I was saying?

I was an idiot for making this decision, but it had to be said. I set my dish down and looked him dead in the eye.

"Tom, that night was incredible, but I will never be able to forget about it. The guilt is eating me alive. So I should just come out with it..."
