Before I knew it, I saw Haley and Nina leave. They walked away, before they entered in the gate, they stopped and waved. Tears spilled down my cheeks as I waved back. They each gave a slight smile, then they turned around and they went out of sight.

When I couldn't see them anymore, I took a big deep breath and reality hit me. I'm in London by myself.

I turned around and walked out of the airport and got in the taxi that was waiting for me.

"You alright miss?" The taxi driver asked. "Yeah." I answered, my voice cracking. I stared out the window as we drove off back to the flat. They were gone, I won't see them for a few months. We would be in different time zones, let alone different countries. Besides Jay and the lads, I was all alone. I knew no one here.

Or so I thought.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Nicks number. It rang three times before he answered. "Hello?" "Hi Nick. It's Jade." "Oh lovely, what's going on?" He asked. He sounded like he was in a hurry. "Do you want to go out for drinks tonight?" I asked. He hesitated to answer, but he finally did. "Sure, but may I bring a friend?" He asked. "Of course, I'll bring Jay." I said. "Good. See you at the pub, say around eight?" "Perfect." Then I hung up and texted Jay.

"Me, you, nick, and his friend at the pub tonight at eight." I texted

I was about to put my phone back in my pocket until a ding went off. "Who's Nick?" He texted back.

"Sorry, he's my professor, more like a friend."

"Oh cool. I'll pick you up at eight. X"

I sighed and out my phone back in my pocket. I assumed that Nina had tried calling, but she was forced to turn off her phone.

"Thanks again." I said, before getting out of the taxi. I handed the taxi driver the money and got out. It was a rainy day in London, and I was about to be drenched.

I ran up my steps, nearly slipped and fell, and pulled out my keys. I stumbled to unlock the door, but when I did I quickly ran in.

Home alone at the flat... Awkward. It was weird to not hear music playing, or two sisters play fighting when I got home. It was weird to not have a cup of tea waiting for me on the stove. It was just plain weird. Everything was. I walked into my bedroom and pulled out my phone.

It was a text from Nick.

"Can't wait for tonight! :)" he texted. "Same!" I replied.

I set my phone on the stereo and blasted Sleeping with Sirens album "Feel" and went into the bathroom. I took a quick shower then I got ready.

I wore my Little Mistress Floral Corset Party Dress with a pair of Black Suede Heel Boots and I accessorized the outfit with my BIG BUDDHA Black Floral purse. I wore black rose earring and curled my long hair into tight curls and did my makeup nice and simple. I finished off the outfit with a pink flower behind my ear.

I took one last look in the mirror. I thought I looked alright, it's hard not having two best friends with you to tell you if you look okay or not.

I sat down on the couch and waited for Jay.

I heard a knock outside the door so I got up. I opened the door, expecting to see Jay but instead it was Nick.

"Change of plans." He said. I looked at him with a confused look on my face. "Why?" I asked. "My friend cancelled. And..." Then he trailed off. "And what?" He walked into my flat. It had started to down pour. He was pacing around in circles, hands clasped together as he silently talked to himself.

"And what? Is everything okay?" I asked a little louder. He looked up at me. "No, everything is not okay." He said. "Sit do-" then he cut me off. "I can't, I just got to come out with it." I looked at him carefully. He looked down at his shoes, then back up and looked me straight in the eyes. "I think I'm in love with you.
