Chapter Nineteen

A half hour passed and Jay was still in the room. I was worried, so I got up and walked over to the room and stopped outside the door when I heard yelling from inside the room.

"Tom! It's your baby! You will not leave Nina!" He yelled into the phone.

Wait... Baby. Nina.

NINA WAS PREGNANT?

I burst open the door and looked at Jay. "Nina's pregnant by Tom?" I screamed. Jays attention shot towards me and he dropped his phone. His phone landed with a crack against the hardwood ground.

"Yes, she's pregnant by Tom." He said. Anger flushed my body. I stomped into Nina's room, but just as I was about to enter, Jay grabbed my arm.

"Don't do it." He said. "Jay, first of all shes having a baby with Tom. Second of all she betrayed her sister. Who does that and gets away with it?" I shot at Jay. Jay was about to say something, but I got out of his grip and stomped into Nina's room.

I flicked her forehead so that she would wake up, and she did.

"What the fuck?" "How could you?" I yelled at her. "What are you-" "Nina, you know exactly what I am talking about! You're pregnant with Toms baby!" She looked down and started to cry.

"It was an accident!" She cried. "I don't care. That is no excuse to do that to your sister, your best friend! That's why she left, wasn't it?" Nina nodded her head.

I was stressing out. I sat down on the end of her bed and rubbed my forehead. "I think you need to go away for a few weeks. For the sake of Haley if and when she returns." I said. She looked at me. "Look I'm not kicking you out, I'm just suggesting that you should go away for a few days while Haley copes." I said.

She started to sob. "Where am I supposed to go?" She yelled. "Maybe with Tom. After all, you are pregnant with his child." I said, then I got up and stopped in the outside of her door.

"You got an hour, and I'll text you when you can come back, but until then... This is goodbye." And with that I walked out of her room.

~Nina's POV~

Jade was actually kicking me out of OUR home. But I don't blame her. I didn't tell her about the pregnancy or the fact that Tom is the father of my baby.

I got off my bed and started to quickly pack my bag. Most of the bag consisted underwear and sweat pants, considering I can barely fit into any of my jeans anymore.

Once I finished packing, I just had to find a place to stay. I decided to text Tom.

"Can I come and stay with you for a while?" I texted. Ten minutes later, with the shortest reply ever, he texted back "yes".

I grabbed my bags and Tom texted me his address.

When I arrived to Toms place, my heart was jumping out of my chest.

I got out of the taxi and grabbed my bags from the pack and walked up to his door.

Tom opened the door and smiled. "Hey." He said. "Hi." I said, while walking in the house. "You can put your bags in the guest bedroom." He said, guiding me to my new room.

"Thanks again for letting me stay." I said. "It's the least I can do. Do you know how long you are staying for?" He asked, while I set my bags down next to the bed. "I don't know, however long it takes Haley to cope I guess." Tom frowned. "I'm sorry." He said. I looked up at him.

"Tom, it's not your fault. I mean, it's both of ours." I said. He shrugged his shoulders and sat down next to me. "When did you find out you were pregnant?" He asked. "I would go into work at six thirty in the morning, and I noticed for a week straight that I had been throwing up whatever I ate in the morning. Then I would eat a thanksgiving dinner. I was worried, so I decided to make an appointment at the doctors. But when I got back to my aunts apartment, I went into the cabinet to get some medicine but I noticed a pack of un opened tampons. I connected the dots and when I went to the doctors, I found out I was actually pregnant. He made an ultrasound and everything. Oh I have something for you."
