I'm skipping ahead a few months, because I honestly could not think of anything to write for the 'present-time' in the story. Thanks for reading! :) xxx

~Three months later~

Five months pregnant. 20 weeks.

Jay and I sat on the couch, discussing colors for the baby's room.

"Well, we can't do blue or pink, but what about a yellow?" I suggested, taking out the strips of different shades of yellow paint.

"Why can't we paint the room blue?" Jay asked. "Because what if the baby is a girl?" He sighed and looked at the yellows.

"I like this one." He said, picking out the vanilla colored strip. "I like that one too. And maybe all white furniture?" Jay shrugged his shoulders. "Why white? Why not black? Or red? Or-" "Jay, you make poor fashion decisions. And you know it, so let me handle the furniture." He laughed and agreed with me.

"When should I start painting?" He asked. "As soon as possible. When you go paint, how about I go and pick out the furniture." I suggested. "Alright. So tomorrow?" "Tomorrow."

"Can we have sex while you're pregnant?" He asked. I raised my eyebrow and turned around. "Jay. I'm not having sex while pregnant. I'm afraid it will hurt the baby!" "I'll go slow!" Jay begged. I wrinkled my nose and walked over to him and kissed the top of his nose. "No!" I said, then I turned away and walked to the kitchen.

My phone rang and I grabbed it out of my pocket. It was Nina.

"I'm freaking out!" she panicked. "Well hello to you too." I rolled my eyes. "No time to joke. Okay so, the fucking baker cancelled on me!" "What? Why?" "I have no fucking clue, but my wedding is in two weeks and I have no one to do the cake."

An idea ran through my head. "What about if I make your cake?"

"You bake?" she asked. "Shut up, yes I bake! I can totally do it!" "Are you sure?" "Yes, I do nothing all day and we already have everything set, so I can do it within a week if you really want me to."

"Jade, I fucking love you." I smiled. "I know you do," I teased. "Well, I will text you what I want the cake to be like. Thanks so much, you're the best!" "You're welcome, anything for you." then I hung up and grabbed the chips out of the cupboard.

"Who was that?" Jay asked. "Nina, I'm making their cake for their wedding because their baker cancelled." I explained. Jay smiled and nested his head into my neck and wrapped his arms around me waist.

"You're too caring sometimes." he teased. "Caring is kind." I said.

Jays head shot up. "It's almost your birthday!" Oh yeah, it was.

I shrugged. "It's not like I can go out." I said, pointing to my stomach.

Jay smiled. "It's okay bug, you got me."
