The Right Time

Chapter Forty Five

'Beca, don't be a jerk', Chloe laughed.

'I'll stop being a jerk if you stop attacking me'

The two were play fighting on their bed. At that moment in time, Chloe was winning, so the brunette began to resort to dirty tactics. Chloe was now on top of her, and was being pinned to Beca's chest with one arm across her back; the other arm was being used to tickle her neck.

'Beca stooooop!', the redhead cried out as she squirmed, 'You know that's where I'm most ticklish'

'That's why I'm doing it you doofus'

Out of the blue, Chloe used every ounce of strength she had left in her arms, and unlocked herself from her girlfriend's grip. Then, she rapidly pinned the DJ's arms against the mattress by each side of her head.

'Man, your arms are freakishly strong', Beca gasped.

Still keeping Beca's arms pinned down, she slowly leaned over and gave the girl a kiss on both cheeks, and a single, sweet kiss on the lips.
The final kiss was one done with a smile, and Chloe found herself relaxing her grip until she lay in Beca's arms instead of holding them back.

'I love you', Beca said quietly.

'I can't hear you'

'I love you', was the slightly louder reply.

Chloe leaned closer and squinted as if she was trying to listen.

'I still didn't hear that'

'Yes you did, Beale', Beca smirked, catching onto what Chloe was doing.

'I love you too', the redhead laughed softly.

'Chlo?'

'Beca'

'I'm gonna be working until late tomorrow', the brunette told her, taking on a flatter tone of voice.

'I thought you were coming home at seven?', Chloe replied with sad eyes.

'Sorry...I'm staying to do some extra work'

'Okay. Can you ring me when you've finished so that I know you're on your way home?'

'Why, are you planning some alone time? To enjoy yourself without me?', Beca teased; she pinched Chloe's side.

'No...', Chloe said, flirting with her eyes, 'But I'm planning some time with you when you get here...', she leaned forward to kiss her lips, 'And I definitely plan to enjoy myself'

'Goodnight, Chlo', Beca replied, shutting her eyes and relaxing.

'Hey, aren't you excited?', the redhead asked, feeling a little taken aback- her seductive advances were never normally shot down.

'I'm going to sleep now so that tomorrow can come quicker'

The two shared a smile, then shared a hug as they fell asleep.
