'Chloe...I...Can I ask you a question?'

Chloe couldn't breathe, let alone reply, so Beca continued regardless.

'Do you know that I only do these things because I like you enough to let you break my boundaries?'

Chloe's heart was beating out of her chest.

'I feel closer to you than I have ever felt with anyone. You're the best friend I could ever ask for'

The redhead quickly sat up while her heart broke into a million pieces.

'That's it though. I'm just your best friend. Nothing more', she croaked.

Beca sat up and put one arm around her. She used her other hand to hold Chloe's.

'Who said you aren't anything more? I told you the other day, I love you more than anything. I like you much more than just a friend, Chlo', Beca said, instantly regretting it. She was sure it would scare Chloe off.

Instead, Chloe stared in disbelief at her friend. Then, before she knew it, she was leaning in, and so was Beca.
Beca's hand fell down from the redhead's back, and rested at her side. Her other hand combed through Chloe's hair and cradled her face.

Their lips met.

Firstly, it was soft as they were introduced to each other, but then the passion they had been restraining began to overflow. Chloe couldn't take it anymore and pushed Beca down onto the mattress. Knowing that Chloe was on top of her- feeling that she was on top of her- Beca had pure adrenaline rushing through her veins.

It wasn't long before the girls had wrapped their legs around one another and Chloe's hands were running through Beca's hair. Beca's hands meanwhile, were placed on the ginger's waist.

It was half an hour later that they finally stopped for a breath.

'Oh my god', Beca panted.

'What?', Chloe was worried that the brunette had changed her mind about her.

'You're...amazing'

Chloe laughed, feeling relieved.

'I could do this, like all the time', Beca spoke.

They were lying side by side, Beca with her head on Chloe's outstretched arm.

'Do I get to stay with you, or do I have to go back to my room?', Chloe asked after a while.

'Well I asked you to stay earlier, so stay', Beca said. She added, 'But only if you want to!', after she thought she sounded too demanding and/or needy

'I'll get my PJs', Chloe smiled.
--------------------------------------------
Chloe had slept in Beca's bed for the night, but apart from a quick peck before they went to sleep, nothing 'happened'. They had flutters in their chest and a sense of excitement brewed. When they woke up the next morning, they felt happy and satisfied.

'I don't think anyone else is up, so I'll go to my room and get dressed super quietly', Chloe said, giving Beca a kiss on the cheek.

Beca was still in bed.

'I guess I'll get up too', she replied with a yawn.

With a sudden change in energy, she added, 'Ooh, we could make pancakes for everyone!'

Chloe tried not to laugh, but couldn't help it.

After getting dressed in seperate rooms, the girls tip-toed their way to the kitchen; Beca was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark green, plaid shirt. Chloe was wearing an oversized, cream jumper with a pair of blue skinny jeans. They started to gather the ingredients for their pancakes.

Beca got to work, mixing the flour and the wet ingredients together. Chloe saw how focused she was, and took advantage; she coated her hand in flour and smacked Beca, leaving a print on the rear of her black jeans.

'Really? You wanna go there?'

Beca grasped for the bag of flour, pulling out a white, dusty hand. She smirked wickedly.

Suddenly, she said, 'Oh my god, Chlo, don't move'

'What? What? Is there something on me?', Chloe cried.

Beca lurched forward and wiped her hand down Chloe's torso.

'Beca! Not fair!', the redhead feigned annoyance.

'Are we interrupting anything?', Flo questioned; her, Lily, Stacie and Amy were stood at the bottom of the stairs.

'No, we were just making pancakes', Chloe gave a special wink to Beca.

When the pancakes were finished, all of the Bellas crowded the lounge to eat them. They were the best pancakes any of them had ever had.
Later that day, the Bellas rehearsed, then Beca and Emily headed to the recording studio to collaborate.

Beca and Emily came home fairly late- almost one in the morning. They had been working hard on the project for The Worlds. Softly padding up the stairs, they went into their rooms. Beca dreamed of Chloe.
----------------------------
Rehearsals and other commitments, (like college work), filled the following day. Everyone was feeling tired and run down- especially Beca. Juggling an internship along with everything else was putting a lot of pressure on her. She needed to relax.

Most of the Bellas were chilling out in their rooms- only Flo and Cynthia Rose remained on the sofas in the lounge. All of a sudden, the front door opened and a sleepy Beca emerged.

'Hey guys. Where is everyone?'

'Hey, Beca. Everyone is hanging out in their room. I know that Chloe is', Flo answered.

'Ooookay...', Beca said, wondering why Flo pointed Chloe out specifically.

Right on cue, Chloe came down the stairs and gave her tired friend a hug.

'Are you okay? You look super tired', she said.

'That's what a girl wants to hear!', Beca quipped. She inhaled the sweet smell of Chloe's hair as they held each other.

Witnessing the smelling of hair, Cynthia Rose raised her eyebrows, as did Flo.

'Sorry, I didn't mean it in a horrible way. Want me to make you a drink?', Chloe asked.

'No thanks, I just need to sit down'

Beca slumped onto a sofa and her friend joined her. They began to chat to each other. Cynthia Rose thought of a plan, and whispered it to Flo. Flo nodded.

'Yo, we're going to bed, so see you tomorrow morning', she announced.

'Buenas noches', Beca winked at Flo, which made the girl laugh.

Then, instead of actually going to bed, the plan-makers hid halfway up the stairs.

'Are you sure they were in the same room?', Flo asked Cynthia.
The latter had caught Chloe sneaking out of Beca's room a morning ago; she, as well as everyone else, thought that something was going on.

The redhead leaned over to give Beca a head rub.

'That feels amazing'

'That's not the first time you've said that to me', Chloe flirted.

Cynthia Rose and Flo's jaws had dropped.

'I actually said that you were amazing, which means that what you were doing could have been terrible'

Chloe stopped rubbing Beca's temples. Next, the redhead pulled her friend's arms so that Beca was on top of her.

'If I'm terrible, tell me to stop'

Chloe kissed Beca passionately, which led to a moan from the brunette; this ultimately led to the two girls on the stairs running as silently and quickly as they could back to their rooms.
