-Are you busy next Friday?x-

-It's our 5 month anniversary next Friday, Becs...x-

-I know. That's why I'm asking you if you're busy or not, you dork. I want to take you out x-

-Oh! No I'm not busy :) Where are you taking me?x-

Beca and Chloe were texting each other at work. Beca wasn't sure what to buy her girlfriend for their five month celebration, so she decided a couple of weeks ago that taking her out for a meal in her favourite restaurant would be the best idea. She had booked a table, but wanted to double check that Chloe was free.

-How about that Italian restaurant you love?x-

-Sounds good to me :) x-

Chloe meanwhile was sure of what she was getting Beca from shortly after their four month anniversary. She was a romantic at heart, and enjoyed nothing more than giving people presents, so she always got excited when an anniversary was coming up. She was confident that this one would be memorable.
------------------
On the evening of their dinner, the two girls were getting ready in separate rooms.

'Let me know when you're done, Chlo', Beca called out.

The brunette only had to spritz on some perfume before she was ready to go. She was wearing a pair of dark blue, high-waisted, skinny jeans with a plain black button down jersey shirt, paired with black, high-heeled ankle boots. The outfit was fairly understated; her tousled hair, red lipstick and eyeliner made her look like a model.

'I'm done', Chloe said, peering around the doorframe.

'Wow, Chlo...'

Beca stared at the sight in front of her. Stunning as usual, Chloe was wearing a mid-length, red dress. It hugged her in all the right places, showing off her amazing figure, (which looked even better as she was in her rouge heels). Her hair was swept to one side, and a simple red lip with blusher and mascara completed the ensemble.

'Beca, you look so toned', Chloe complimented her, reaching a hand to the girl's waist.

'Thanks, dude', Beca blushed, 'You look gorgeous'

'Should we go?'

'Let's go'
-------------
Chloe put her arm around the brunette's waist as they entered the Italian restaurant together. As the short girl had booked their table a couple of weeks previous, they were seated fairly swiftly.

'What are you ordering, Miss Beale?'

'I...am going to have the penne with wild mushrooms and a salad please', the ginger answered after scanning the menu.

'Sure thing. I think...I think I'm going to have the grilled steak with side salad'

Normally the DJ wouldn't have chosen salad to go alongside her meal, but Chloe's healthy eating habits had rubbed off on her. Soon, the DJ was ordering the dishes for them both.

As they waited for their food, Beca leaned forward, placing her elbows on the table and propping her head up with her hands.

'Happy five months, jerkface', she said to Chloe with a wink.

'Happy five months', Chloe smiled, reaching a hand forward to give Beca's arm a loving squeeze.

The brunette moved her arms so that she could hold hands with her girlfriend across the table.

'I'm so glad we started this again, Becs'

'Started what again? Eating Italian?'

'No, I'm glad that we're together again'
