I looked around the quite room. There were no lights on other that the moonlight shining through the big windows.
"Mom?" I whispered. "Dad?" I asked a bit louder. I started to move from the place I was standing. I made sure to lock the door just in case something or someone was out there
I couldn't hear anything but my heavy breathing and the floor boards creaking under my feet. I continued while clutching my chest. I stopped in the middle of the room.
Large windows lined the walls. There was a small window with a kitchen on the other side. There were a few small tables against the wall and a couple arcade games. A couch sat in the back with a TV in front of it.
After I let my eyes wonder around the room, I looked at the door way. A black figure stood there. He was quite and didn't move at all.
A cold sweat fell down my face. I didn't know what to do. Do I run? Do I stay here, staring at him? What the hell do I do?!
My eyes were wide with fear and I was shaking so hard I felt like I might give out. I kept my gaze with the figure in the door. I wanted to scream and run, but I couldn't move.
I took one step back and that's when it happened. He jumped and started running toward me. I screamed and tried my best to get away.
He made a terrifying screeching noise as he pounced. I didn't stop, climbing over the couch but he was close behind. I continue to race around the dark room, nocking over furniture in the process.
I tripped over a coffee table in the middle of the room. I feel on my back only to be cornered by the monster. He stood above me on all four, tall limbs. I stared at him. Fear clear on my face. He lowered his head to come only a few inches from mine. He had no eyes or nose, he was just black and tall and all bone, no meat what so ever. He stayed staring at me. It seemed like he was looking for a sign that I was alive. A hot tear trickled down my face. Right then a wide and long mouth came into view.
His mouth reached up to his ears. He had long and terrifyingly sharp teeth and a long slim tongue to top it off. He opened his mouth as much as he possibly could. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, he let out a horrible screech loud enough to shake the building.
I screamed along with the ear perching noise. I couldn't hold back I cried out. "MOMMY! DADDY! PLEASE! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!" I screamed between loud sobs.
The monster lunged toward me. I'm going to die. I'm actually going to die right here right now, is all that was going through my head. But, just at that moment something hit the creatures back and instead of my face, it sunk it's teeth into my arm. I screamed in pain.
I couldn't keep up. Why? What? HOW?! What the hell was happening? All these thoughts got to me. I couldn't feel anything. I was in shock. Blood spilled from my arm. The monster laid there next to me. I missed something. What happened. A figure stood in front of me. A normal figure.
"You alright?" He asked. His voice was soft and comforting. I smile slightly. Then I was gone. I blacked out.
Don't worry. It's all a bad dream.

A/N
Well okay. So it was pretty intense. I'm sorry if it went by pretty fast. But I'm happy it's getting started. The picture at the top is the only picture I could find that kind of captured what I was thinking while writing this chapter. Also, last time I check, the story has 41 views. Wow! Thank you so much! I thought we would only get like 3 views. I still would love it if you commented and voted. But thank you and ttyl :P
