"I'm going to go get some bandages, okay?" Alex told me. "Alright, thank you." I smiled at him. I watched as he smiled back and began to walk to the other side of the building. When he was out of sight was when I let go of all the calm I had left in me.
"What the hell was that! Alex has superpowers or something!" I screamed. "That was fire. He was holding fire!" I slumped over, burying my face into my hands. "Where am?" I asked. "I want to go home."
After saying this, I realized something. What's so good about the original world I come from? I have one friend, I'm not a people person what so ever, and no one has ever done something for me. I like Alex. He's annoying, but he also makes me feel safe. I know that's kind of weird to say, because I kinda just met him. But he did save my life.
I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm not making any decision before I find my family. Dead or alive.
"Hey, I got the bandages. Are you okay?" I looked up at the sound of Alex's voice. I looked him in the eyes. "What are the chances of me staying here?" I asked him. His eyes widened then became angry. "What do you mean?" He asked coldly. "I mean if I choose to stay here." I said. He grabbed my leg harshly and began to work at it. I winced in pain.
"You don't know what you're saying." His harsh voice rang out. "Yes I do! Maybe I want to stay here. Maybe." "You haven't even made a decision yet." He stated. "Well yeah, I can't just make that decision right now. My first mission is to find my family." He looked me in the eyes now.
"And if we don't? Did you ever think of that?" He shouted. "Yeah! That's what I'm thinking about right now!" I shouted back. "If I don't find them then I won't have anywhere to go! I can also start a new, more exciting life here. What's wrong with that?" I asked, a single tear falling from my eyes. My face stayed stern but his softened.
He looked away from me and down to my leg, paying attention to my wounds. "But, you have already had 2 near death experiences within the 24 hours you've been here." He replied, almost jokingly. "So? I lived through both, right?" I explained to him. "Barley. And I'm the one you kept you from dying each time!" He told me.
"Oh, hush. I just got here, what do you expect?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. "I expect a normal girl to want out of here after such experiences." Alex stated, looking up at me through his eyelashes. "Well, I guess I'm not a normal girl." I stated firmly. He just scoffed. "Oh trust me, I've already figured that out, princess."
"Well good. Now let's get going!" I shouted, standing after he finished, falling back down right after standing. I winced in pain, rubbing my calf injuries. "I know what we need." Alex said a second after. "What?" I asked. "An apple." He said, looking up at me. I giggled a little. "An....Apple?" I asked, confused. He rolled his eyes. "A special Apple." I looked at him, my eyebrows raised high in questioning.
"Okay. It's too much to explain. You just have to trust me." Alex stated, reaching out and picking me up again. I giggled at how this situation reminded me of a scene from the movie Aladdin. "What are you laughing at?" He asked, totally oblivious of my thoughts. "Nothing. You just reminded me of someone." I laughed. "Who?" He asked. "A thief that stole the heart of a princess." I purred.
"Oh. Well, if so, have I stolen your heart, princess?" He cooed, just as flirty. I blushed and looked away from him. "N-No. I'm not as easily pleased as the princess." I stated coldly. Alex just laughed and started walking towards the woods.
"Where are we going?" I asked looking back up at him. "I told you you to trust me." He told me, keeping his gaze in front of him. I sighed in defeat and let him lead me, or, carry me, I guess. "Aren't I heavy?" I asked, snuggling into him a little bit so I was more comfortable. "Nah. It's like carrying a bunny." Alex stated, looking down at me with a smile. I just blushed and snuggled deeper into his neck.
This isn't weird right? I've never acted like this before with anyone. He just makes me feel safe. I just don't want to scare him off or end up being to forward with my actions. It's his fault for carrying me and saving me really.
I drifted off with my own thoughts. It wasn't the best, but I was comfortable enough to sleep. When I awoke, I was surrounded. I sat up and remembered to breathe.
Girls? Girls surrounded me. But not only that, they had antlers and big eyes. They were...... Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I looked around. They looked excited and curious. "H-Hi. Do you know where Alex is?" I asked them, a little shaken up.
One of the girls caught my eye. She had big blue eyes, brown braided hair and flowers in her hair. She stepped closer, on her hands and knees. She tilted her head to one side. They really acted like animals. "A-Alex. Do you know Alex?" I continued to stutter as I asked.
"I'm right here." I head from behind me. I turned my head and saw Alex walking over to me and the strange girls. All of the girls perked up and smiled as they saw Alex. The one that caught my eye smiled at him but kept her attention on me.
"Hi girls." Alex greeted them by patting their heads. "Ah. I see you've met Lily, Cam." Alex said, mentioning her name. Lily perked up at the sound of her name. She really was cute.
Lily then looked back at me, then back at Alex, giving him a questioning look. "Cameron here needs one of your apples." Alex told her. She looked back at my injuries. She then looked into my eyes with her big, beautiful ones. She nodded then, standing and walking off.
"Do they speak?" I asked, turning my attention back to Alex. "No. They're anima. Humans with animal abilities. So, not really human." He laughed. "That's Lily who you just met. Over there is Ami, Mei, and Uma." I turned and looked at the other girls.
Ami had small antlers and short, real light, pinkish hair. She and a few small flowers in her hair. She was probably the smallest. She had big brown eyes and long eyelashes.
Mei was a little bit taller. She had long, light blue hair. It was slightly wavy and fell perfectly as she moved. She had large green eyes and smaller eyelashes. She had a beautiful figure as well.
Last was Uma. She was tall and beautiful. Her hair was long and white. Her antlers were large and powerful. She had purple eyes that seemed to stare into your soul. Though her eyes were haunting, her hands were gentle as she move and she was fast to react. She seemed almost scared, but it wasn't her face that showed it. It was her actions.
These girls. They were mysterious and fragile. They were perfect and magnificent. They were beautiful, in every single way.
When Lily returned, the others backed away from me as if to give her room. She knelt in front of me. She then held her hands out and sitting there in her palm was an apple. It was ripe and looked delicious. I looked over at Alex and he nodded in approval. I looked at the three other girls and they all nodded, except for Uma, who rejected my gaze.
I looked back at Lily. She smiled at me and nodded towards the fruit. I sighed and took it from her. "Thanks." I said it the beautiful girl in front of me. She nodded and gave me a sweet smile.
Lily looked to the other girls, talking to them with her eyes. They all walked off. But when I looked back up I saw Uma standing, staring at me. I stared back at her she started to turn, before looking back at me once more, then running off with the others.
