What in the hell just happened?

I was supposed to keep my demeanor composed. I was supposed to be unfazed by him. I was supposed to be me.

As soon as he stepped close to me, all thoughts of me staying calm, went out the window.

All I could think about was how I wanted to kiss him until his ignorance and annoying personality faded away.

What is wrong with me?

I mindlessly start to get ready for the party along with SAM and LANIE.

Since, LANIE wanted to be a whiny little bitch about the black dress, I decided to wear a similar one except it was red. I paired the dress with a pair of black heels and I curled my hair.

SAM decided to wear high waisted black jeans and a burgundy crop top.

Needless to say, we were going to be the best looking people at the party.

I'm going to make sure he regrets messing with me. He's going to wish that getting me sent to London was the only thing I was getting revenge for.

This party is going to be a nice welcome back for me.

Once we were finished getting ready, we got into my car and I programmed the address into my car's GPS.

We drove while listening to Halsey's Badlands album and SAM kept making Snapchat videos of us singing.

"Everyone back home is going to be so jelly when they see these." SAM said through laughter.

LANIE and I laughed along with her.

"They're going to wish that they were here too. Especially when my little surprise happens."

I could feel their eyes on me while I drove. "Yes?" I said with a slight attitude.

It was SAM who spoke up. "What exactly are you planning, LYLA?"

"You're going to have to wait and see like everyone else."

They nodded their heads and didn't press any further on the topic.

Not long after, we arrived at the party.

"This must be MAYA'S house." I scoffed.

"Who's MAYA?" LANIE said.

"CALEB'S girlfriend." I replied blandly.

SAM made a face when I said that.

LANIE looked at her and laughed. "What was that face for?"

SAM glanced at me to ask if she could tell LANIE about what happened. I nodded my head and waited for her to start talking.

"CALEB tried to kiss LYLA earlier when she went to his house, but LYLA left before he could and she grabbed a flyer with this address on it."

LANIE'S face had shock and disgust written all over it after SAM told her about what had happened.

LANIE attempted to compose herself and took a step towards me, as if she were going to try and hug me.

I held my hand up to stop her from coming any closer and I just shook my head at her.

After that, we started making our way up the long, paved driveway.

We could hear the music playing from outside of the house. Red cups littered the ground and people were dancing.

We stepped inside the house and I could recognize a lot of the people that were here from before I left. Before I knew it everyone had stopped dancing they were staring at me, SAM, and LANIE.
