Third Person's POV

Hidden in the Mossdeep City, Team Shadow is performing the Distortion Ritual. A ritual where pokemons are being sacrificed in order to open the dimension of the Distortion World where Giratina rules.

"Sir, we have sacrificed ten pokemons today." a guy in black and purple uniform reported.

"The portal is still not open. It requires a lot of sacrifice. Go on and catch as many pokemon as you can." the guy with white hair and wears a black suit and red necktie said.

"It's been three months and still we haven't made any progress on opening the portal." he mumbled.

While on a faraway town, the Littleroot Town, a young boy named Rave just started his journey along with his Treeko on becoming a Hoenn League Champion.

"Bye mom." he bid goodbye to his mom.

"Be careful." she reminded his son.

Rave's POV

Well, hello there. My name is Rave Summers. I'm now on a journey along with my partner Treeko. And my goal is to become the Hoenn League Champion. My mother was a Top Coordinator, she's Reese Wilbert Summers. My dad is a Pokemon Trainer, well, he's in Sinnoh Region right now and he is one of their elite fours. His name is Tristan Summers.

'Route 101' I read the sign board. I walked and saw a girl with wavy black hair about waist length being surrounded by four Poochyena. I sent out my Treeko.

"Lets help them." I muttered.

"Treeko." he nodded.

"Use pound Treeko!" I yelled.

He pounded his tail on one of the four Poochyena. I noticed that the girl is holding a mudkip on her arms. It's badly injured. I guess she's a rookie trainer like me.

The Poochyena used tackle against my Treeko. I commanded Treeko to dodge it and he does. Once again, he pounded his tail on the Poochyena he have hit earlier.

"Great job Treeko." I praised him.

One of the Poochyena swayed the sand towards Treeko. He was blinded by the sand and all four Poochyena charged toward him. My Treeko splattered and his body hit a tree.

"Treeko!" I was going to run to Treeko but the four Poochyena stood in my way.

"Charizard, use flamethrower on those Poochyena." a voice of a boy. Then a flamethrower sent all four of the Poochyena flying.

I looked behind and saw a boy about the same age as mine, wears a black jacket with a master ball imprinted on it. He has a messy black hair and a pair of black eyes.

He just passed by us along with his Charizard. I tried to look at it on my pokedex but there were no details about it.

"Wait!" I shouted. He stopped from walking and tilted his head towards me. "Thanks for helping us." I thanked him.

He just smirked and continued walking. At least he drove those Poochyenas away. I went to Treeko. He is badly hurt.

"Take a nice long rest buddy." I returned Treeko to its Pokeball.

"Miss, are you okay?" I asked the girl with a wavy black hair.

"My mudkip is injured." she replied.

"Lets take her to a pokemon center. Oldale Town's pokemon center is nearby, lets get moving." I helped her stood up and we ran to get to Oldale Town quickly.

Who's that boy with a Charizard? I hope I'll meet him again someday. And I'd like to have a pokemon battle with him. Well, first thing's first, gotta get to Oldale Town's pokemon center to heal my Treeko and this girl's Mudkip.
