Guardians Of The World [Pokemon Fan Fiction]

Chapter 1: Start of pokemon journey

We managed to get to Oldale Town's pokemon center before sun set. We let Nurse Joy heal our pokemon and right now we're waiting for her to finish with the healing.

"Thanks for helping us." the girl with wavy black hair muttered.

I shook my head. "I wasn't much of a help. The boy with the Charizard was the one who saved us both." I replied.

"Still, you tried to help, so thank you." she insisted.

I just smiled. "Anyway, I didn't get your name." I said.

"It's Seira." she answered.

"Oh, I'm Rave. Nice to meet you." I introduced myself and we shook hands.

"Are you just getting started on your journey?" I asked. She nodded in response. "How about we go on a journey together?" I suggested.

"Fine by me." she replied.

And we got back our pokemon from Nurse Joy. There are rooms in pokemon centers in which people can stay. So we decided to rest here.

The next morning....

I woke up around 7:34 A. M. I grabbed my backpack anf went down. I did some stretching before Seira came down.

"Lets go?" she said. I nodded and we started walking.

Now we are on route 102. On our way to the next city, Petalburg City. We saw different pokemons like Lotad, Ralts, Wingull and Zigzagoon. And then a Seedot stood up in front of us.

"It looks cute." she was amazed.

Seira sent out her mudkip. Looks like she wants to catch that Seedot.

"Use water gun." mudkip did what she said. But it wasn't vey effective against a grass type pokemon like Seedot.

The Seedot charged towards Mudkip and Mudkip took a direct hit. She splattered but got up easily.

"That's the spirit." she was proud of her Mudkip. "Now show 'em a real tackle."

Mudkip charged towards Seedot and Seedot wasn't able to dodge Mudkip's attack. Seedot fell down. Seira threw a pokeball on it. Seedot went inside the pokeball and it shook three times before we heard the 'ting' sound.

"Yes!" she was successful on catching a pokemon.

She looked at me and she was smiling so big. I just gave him a thumbs up. Then a guy in black and purple uniform passed by. He stopped when he realized our presence.

"You two are trainers right?" he asked.

"Yeah." I answered. Then suddenly he sent a pokemon.

A camel like pokemon. It's a Numel! A fire type pokemon. Treeko is not a goo choice to battle against that pokemon. But Seira's Mudkip just got into a battle. I guess she's tired.

"I'll take your pokemons." he said and smiled playfully.

"No you don't." I disagreed.

I sent out my Treeko. Well, we have no other choice. Seira just caught Seedot right now and Seedot is also a grass type pokemon and it wouldn't be effective against a fire type pokemon.

"Numel, use ember." his Numel shot bullet like flames going on Treeko's direction.

"Treeko, dodge that and use pound!" I instructed.

Treeko managed to dodge the ember and was able to land the pound attack on Numel. I think that's our advantage. Treeko is faster than Numel.

"Beginner's luck." the guy in black and purple uniform mumbled. "Numel, use tackle."

"Go, don't back down Treeko! Use quick attack." I said.

The Numel charged towards Treeko and Treeko quickly hit him first. His Numel fell down.

"I guess luck is on my side." I teased him and I see his fist clenching.

"Treeko, quick attack once more." Treeko moved quickly towards Numel.

"Ember now!" the guy yelled.

Before my Treeko can land the attack, Numel's ember hit him first. Treeko fell down. It's super effective. Treeko is having a hard time on getting up. Numel is already on his feet.

"Looks like this is the end for you." he said. "Numel, finish this with tackle." Numel started charging towards Treeko.

"Get up Treeko!" Seira yelled.

"Come on buddy, just one last attack." I muttered and Treeko was able to stood up. "Jump at the last second and use pound."

At the last second, before Numel's tackle can hit Treeko, Treeko managed to jump and dodged it. Then he delivered a pound attack on the Numel. That was a solid shot. Numel fell down and eventually fainted.

"This won't be the last time. We'll see each other again." the guy said and he returned Numel to its pokeball and left.

"Great job buddy." I praised Treeko and patted its head.

"Treeko." he chirped.

"That was an awesome battle Rave." Seira commented.

"Thanks." I replied. "I just learned those moves from watching Ash's pokemon battles." I added.

"Still, you're awesome." she said. "So, lets get moving?"

I nodded. I returned Treeko to its pokeball and we continued our journey. Petalburg City here we come.
