Chapter 6: One of the three leaders

We have gotten to the ferry earlier than I expected. Well, after Raikou left, the rain stopped. Anyways, now we are aboard a boat going to the Dewford City where I can get my second badge. I'm getting fired up!

"Hey, Rave, don't you get curious on why Raikou and Suicine showed up to us?" Seira asked.

"I don't know. But maybe, they are asking for help. The Team Shadow. They are killing many pokemons just to get what they wanted and they must be stopped." I replied. "If the guardians need my help, then I will gladly give them a hand." I added.

She nodded. "I'll help too."

Right now, I only have two pokemon. While Seira on the other hand, has three pokemon. Brawly uses fighting type pokemon. So Tailow will have the advantage against him.

I stopped from thinking of what strategy to use for my next gym battle when I saw a black ship. It passed by us really fast. And it's going to the Dewford City. Then on the body of the ship, I saw a big letter S. Could it be?! Could that ship be team Shadow's?!

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist. I must calm down. That's not enough proof yet. I'll go see for myself if the team Shadow has any activities going on the Dewford City.

We arrived at the Dewford City before the sun set. And there are many people gathering around the pokemon center. There was a man in karate uniform and he has bandages all over his body. He is at the center of all of these people.

"What happened?" I asked one of the people here in front of the pokemon center.

"You see that man?" he said pointing at the man with karate suit. I nodded. "He's from Dewford's Gym. Well, he said that he and Brawly, Dewford's gym leader, went to the Granite Cave because suspicious guys in black and purple uniform started to go there. So, Brawly and that man wanted to investigate. But that man is the only one who left the cave this afternoon. He said that Brawly was held as a prisoner by the guys in black and purple uniform." he said.

Guys in black and purple uniform... Team Shadow?!

"Seira! I think I know who's behind these!" I yelped.

"Who?" she asked.

"It's the team Shadow." I answered. She was surprised. "We have to do something about it." I nodded in response.

We both ran going to the granite cave. What are they doing there? We hid in the bush. There was two guys in black and purple uniform guarding the entrance of the cave.

"Hey! What did you do to Brawly?" I went out behind the bush.

"Oh, that kid again!" one of the guards said. Then he threw a pokeball. A Zubat was sent out. Then the other guard threw a pokeball and a Mightyena went out.

"Lets go Grovyle!" I said as I threw a pokeball and Grovyle went out from it.

"Staravia, help Grovyle in this battle." Seira said and it flew beside Grovyle.

The guards smirked and then more guys in black and purple uniform went out. We are very much outnumbered. So they easily defeated us. They took our backpacks and pokeballs then locked us up in an empty room.

"I didn't know that there were twenty of them." I said.

"Yeah." she agreed. We have to get out of here.

'Stand back.' a voice said. I only heard it from my mind. It's like its communicating to me telepathically. I did what the voice said. I stand back then the door suddenly exploded. I covered Seira so she wouldn't get hurt.

Then I saw him again. Suicune. Is he here to help us?

"Cuneee..." it howled. 'Follow me.' the same voice said. And Suicune started to run. Is it coming from Suicune? I held Seira's hand and I dragged her along and followed Suicune.

There were members of team Shadow blocking our way. They have their pokemon with them. But Suicune blew them off with aurora beam. He ran again. This time, he stopped in front of a room. He blasted the door with bubble beam. There we saw our backpacks and pokeballs. We took them and we followed Suicune again.

We stopped to a door where a big S is inprinted. Suicune looked more furious and he blasted off the door once again. Then a man with white hair in black and purple uniform was standing in the middle of the room.

"Hello there, Rave Summers. Looks like you are one of the chosen ones." he muttered. One of the chosen ones?! "Anyway, I'm Kailem, one of the three leaders of team Shadow." he introduced himself.

"What are you planning to do?" I asked.

He smiled. "We want to conquer the world. And to achieve our goal, we must get Giratina." he answered.

"Giratina?" I mumbled.
