Chapter 7: Old friend, New friend

"I won't let you ruin our plans." Kailem said and threw a greatball into the air releasing a Luxray.

"Luxray, use thunderbolt!" he commanded.

Suicune blocked the thunderbolt with bubble beam. Suicune then leaped towards Luxray and did a gust attack. Luxray blew off. But he got up easily.

"You have a type disadvantage Suicune." Kailem muttered. "Your attacks won't be effective against my Luxray." he added.

Suicune used aurora beam against Luxray.

"Luxray, use thunderbolt once again!" Kailem yelled. Suicune's aurora beam was blocked by Luxray's thunderbolt.

I sent out Grovyle to help. "Use leaf blade." I said and Grovyle performed a leaf blade.

"Spark, Luxray." Luxray was covered with electricity and he hit Grovyle. Grovyle splattered.

Suicune then used bubble beam and he hit Luxray. Luxray fell down. He used gust next and Luxray was helpless.

"I see, I shouldn't have underestimated you. You're still a legendary pokemon so you can overpower type disadvantage." Kailem muttered.

He threw a pokeball and a Seviper came out. "Use haze." The whole place was surrounded by haze. We can't see a thing. Suicune did a gust to blew the haze off. When the haze was gone, Kailem was nowhere to be found. He escaped.

"Seira, we have to catch them." I said. Seira nodded. We ran as fast as we could. They can't be gone for too long. Then we saw a hallway.

We passed through it and we found ourselves out at the sea. Then there is Team Shadow's ship. Kailem was aboard it.

"We'll see each other again, Rave." he said then their ship sailed.

We'll put a stop to your evil doings.

"Cuneee." Suicune growled.

"What now?" I murmured.

"You have to get the knuckle badge." Seira said. "Your dream is to be the Hoenn league champion right?" I nodded in response.

"So lets get going." she dragged me.

We went first to the pokemon center to treat our pokemon. Then we went to Dewford City's gym. Brawly uses fighting type pokemon, so Tailow is a good choice for this battle. And Suicune left immediately when the Team Shadow have made their escape.

"Sorry to break it to you but I say we should take a break for now." Brawly said.

Well, I guess he's right. After all of the things that have happened, maybe we should get the day off. So I didn't bother arguing with Brawly. Me and Seira went to the Pokemon Center to get some sleep.

I've been lying for hours but I can't get to sleep. I looked at Seira who is now sleeping peacefully. Glad she managed to sleep. I stood up and went outside to get some fresh air. I wonder where the Team Shadow might attack next.

"Well, fancy seeing you here." a familiar voice said.

"Alexa?!" I was surprised to see her here.

Well, she started her journey two years ahead from mine. But we were childhood friends. Alexa is a girl with green should length hair. Wearing a dark blue sleeveless shirt and a red knee length skirt. And she has a backpack which is light brown colored.

She is a great coordinator but didn't managed to get the trophy. She only made it to 10th place. If I recall, her pokemons are; Marshtomp, Roselia, Glalie and Corsola.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I'm here to get my second badge." I replied.

"Oh! So you decided to be a pokemon trainer." she said looking amused and I just nodded in agreement.

"How about you?" I murmured and her forehead creased. "Why are you here?" I added.

"Well, I've heard that the Team Shadow came here." she responded. "I'm after them. They've killed the pokemon of one of my friends."

"They are planning to take over the world by using Giratina." I said.

"Giratina?!" she yelled, looking really surprised.

"They are on their way to Slateport City." a voice of a man. And suddenly a boy with green brushed up hair appeared. He's wearing a purple polo shirt and brown pants.

"He's Dan. He's also a trainer just like you. But decided to postpone his journey to help me on stopping the Team Shadow on their evil doings." Alexa muttered.

"Hello. I'm Rave, nice to meet you." I stretched out my hand for a handshake.

He took my hand and shook it then said, "Nice to meet you too."

"We better get some sleep." Alexa said dragging Dan along with him and both of them went inside the Pokemon Center.

I better get ready for my gym battle tomorrow. I also went inside the Pokemon Center and walked straight into my room and lied at the bed, closed my eyes. Waited until I was slowly drifted into the dream world.
