I fanned myself with my free hand. "Go, why must it be so hot?" I complained.
LA was hot. And I mean, hot. England was like a frozen tundra compared to this sweltering heat! But Niall just laughed and slid on some aviators. "You get used to it." he sighed, leaning back in his beach chair. I rolled my eyes.
You might get used to it after traveling on like, six tours for the past three years. But I most definitely have not. After all, my husband is famous, not me.
I leaned back on my chair as well, letting my pores soak in all the vitamin C in the sun lights golden rays. I sighed, and my bulging tummy moved with my lungs. A baby kicked my stomach, and I wheezed. They're getting stronger and stronger every day.
Niall must've heard me, as he grinned. "Baby's going to be a soccer player, huh?"
I nodded. "You bet your buttons."
Niall raised an eyebrow. "Bet your buttons?" he asked quizzically.
I groaned. "First it was whatever frosts your cookies, and now you don't know what bet your buttons means?"
Niall shrugged slowly. "Sorry?" he said, but it sounded more like a question. I rolled my eyes and pulled a towel over my head. "I give up." I muttered. Niall just laughed softly.
I must've dozed off, but soon I was being shaken by a pair of hands. "Mattie! Get up, you'll be burnt!"
I sleepily pulled the towel off my head and groaned as the sunlight streamed into my pupils. I shaded my eyes and looked at Eleanor, Perrie and Darcy. They stood in bikinis. El had on a white one that flaunted her bronzed skin, Darcy wore a neon green one, and her hair was wrapped in a messy bun atop her head, and Perrie had on a fuchsia one with fringe around the hems of it. They were already more tanned then when we arrived yesterday.
"Mattie, come on!" Perrie pouted. "We're in LA! There's better things to do than sleep."
I rolled my eyes. "What, eat?" I asked innocently.
El grabbed my arm and tugged me upright. "Mattie, its warm, sunny, and you're sitting here like a bump on a log, in shorts and a tee shirt! Come on, we're going shopping."
I groaned, but slid my feet into my leather flip flops sitting beside me. It stood up slowly, and my back ached as though I had been doing a bridge for the past hour.
I blame the airplane seats.
Perrie grabbed my hand, and I couldn't help but notice how pale and thin my arm seemed next to hers. She looked down too, and her eyes flashed back up to mine. She put on a false smile. "We'll also be getting some cheeseburgers." she tried to lighten the mood, and I smiled a little, but I knew.
I was stressed. Very stressed. It isn't good for me, not for Niall, and certainly not for the babies. I had lost weight, no denying it. I'm not going to sugar coat it for anyone. I'm very, very worried.Maybe it's the press, the tabloids, or Modest fucking things up. Maybe it's the fans constant whining and need to know every detail about Niall and I. But whatever it was, I wanted it to stop. Before it affected my kids.
But I brushed myself off. "Yeah, I could go for a cheeseburger." I smiled. Perrie grinned, and El looped her arm through mine as well.
"We're off to see a wizard!" El whooped. I laughed at her cheesy movie reference, and Darcy just rolled her eyes.
"Come on you loons, we've gotta go!" she said, heading away from the sparkling blue ocean. I groaned as she nearly tugged my arm off, but allowed her to drag me over to the shade of some palms. Eleanor grabbed a bag that was sitting there and pulled out three pairs of shorts for them. They shimmied into their shorts, keeping on their bikini bottoms of course. El threw the bag over her shoulder and grinned. "Thank god we're taking you shopping. You look like a mess."
I rolled my eyes. "Way to be subtle Eleanor." I huffed, crossing my arms.
She shoved me softly. "You get ten times worse then that every day from Darcy, yet I get in trouble?" she rolled her eyes, but a grin laced her lips.
Suddenly, I heard a scream. I spun around, my heart racing 100 miles an hour. Darcy screamed again, and she dangled in midair.
Harry laughed as he spun her around, and her fists punched his back. "Harry, let me down!" she yelped. Harry laughed and plunked her on the ground with a thud. Darcy placed her curled fists on his bare chest. "Harry, I hate you!" she laughed.
Harry rolled his eyes. "Pu-lease! You love me! I'm irresistible baby!" he threw his hands up into the air. Darcy laughed and got onto her tiptoes. She planted a soft kiss on his lips.
El scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Come on, we've gotta go!" she complained, tugging on Darcy's hand. Darcy seemed reluctant to leave Harry's side, and she smiled at him longingly. Harry waved her away with his hands. "Go on. Have some girl time. Discuss tampons, what type of pad is better, whatever you do, as long as you have fun."
Darcy laughed. "Sure thing." she shot him a wink. "And by the way, it's U by Kotex."
Harry plugged his ears. "Geez, I'll never be able to forget that!" he squealed.
El laughed. "False info! It's actually Tampax Pearl."
"I haven't had a period in eight months, so I cant contribute." I grinned.
Perrie laughed heartily. "Come on, we can talk later!" she said, tugging us away. Darcy ran and gave Haz one last kiss before following us.

"Are you kidding me? I'm pregnant!" I squealed.
Perrie rolled her eyes. "So? Pregnant girls can still wear bikinis!" she argued with me. But the white flowered bikini in her hands still seemed like a stretch.
El seemed to agree with her though. "Bikinis are so in right now! And you were thin before getting pregnant, so it'll look great!"
Darcy shook her head. "Fat people in bikinis look horrible, and frankly, when you're pregnant, you're fat."
Perrie shoved her. "Just try it on!" she said. I groaned, but grabbed the bikini from her hands. El cheered quietly, trying not to disrupt the other peoples shopping.
We had decided to walk the strip along the coast, and all the stores had a beach view. The teal water sparkled in the afternoon sun, giving the illusion that sunlight was glinting off a sea of diamonds rather than water.
I walked over to a sickly pink dressing room and swung the door open. I stepped inside, my flip flops snapping across the tile floor. I closed the door and locked it, before studying the bikini in my hands. the white top was dotted with 3D flowers, and the middle of them were studded with diamonds. It was beautiful, but I wasn't sure I could rock it with a bulging stomach.
However, I slid it on. I couldn't really see past my stomach, but I walked out anyway.
"Oh my god, that looks great!" Perrie exclaimed, her eyes taking me in. I turned red, unused to being so scantily clad. El nodded happily, but Darcy rolled her eyes and coughed "slut" under her breath. I rolled my eyes, but turned to find a mirror.
I saw one in the corner of the room, so I scampered over to it to look. My pregnant belly seemed bigger than ever before without fabric covering it. The bikini covered just enough to be comfortable wearing, but I still wasn't sold. I turned to El and Perrie, who seemed to be drooling over it. I raised my eyebrow.
"It's amazing!" Perrie grinned. El nodded happily. but Darcy just rolled her eyes again. I smiled, at least to Perrie and El. "Are you sure?" I asked, looking at my every flaw in the mirror. Perrie and El nodded happily.
I sighed. "Fine, I'll buy it."
Sorry it took so long. Hopefully it's long enough, but i didn't have much time to write it. thanks anyway!!
