I peeled my eye open and faced the plain white wall. The comforter surrounded me, enveloping me in downy softness, cradling me in its warmth. Thank god. I needed all the comfort I could get today.

It's my due date, and frankly, I'm scared shitless.

Due dates are innacurate. It's more like a due week.I kept teling myself. But no matter how long I stayed in that fluffy white comforter, I knew I'd be terrified.

I faintly heard the door creak open through the layers of fluffy down covering me. I heard little paws padding along the floor, and bigger feet following behind them. I squeezed my eyes tight, hoping Niall would understand my reluctance to crawl out of bed and leave, but rather, he slid into bed next to me.

He sat still for a few moments. Neither of us moved, silently breathing. The bed acted as a ghosttown of sorts, where everyone was quiet.

"Mattie, love."

I groaned and snuggled deeper into the covers.

"Mattie princess, I brought something for you."

My eyes peeled open, and harsh light shone in from the window into my pupils. I groaned and rolled over, nearly colliding with Niall's chest.

I looked up quickly. Niall smirked down at me, his eyes twinkling. I giggled and scooted up so  was sitting next to Niall.

"Hey gorgeous." I yawned, snuggling into his shoulder.

He chuckled. "Hello, my beautiful, due, wife." he said, wrapping his arm around me.

I grinned. "So you did remember." I yawned.

I felt Niall nod, his whole torso shaking with the movement. "Of course I did, I'm not crazy!"

I giggled quietly, before we lapsed into silence again.

"I brought you breakfest." Niall said, stroking my hair. I grinned and instantly sat up, rubbing my hands together in excitment. Niall laughed at my eager reaction, and rolled over to grab something he had set on the bedside table.

He set down the tray on my lap. Hot cofee, tea, granola, oatmeal, buiscuits, mango and orange were all piled onto my tray, still steaming and hot.

"Mmmm!" I said, grabbing a spoon and scooping some granola onto it.

Niall grinned. "I'm glad you like it."

I giggled. "Do you want some? I asked, my mouth still full.

Niall shook his head though, and rolled over once more to grab another tray filled with the same food. "I think ahead." he shrugged. I grinned and rolled my eyes before digging in.

"Geez, I am stuffed." I groaned, rubbing my extra distended tummy in content. Niall laughed, feeding bits of bacon to Cadet, who ate them happily off the floor.

"I'm glad you liked it." Niall laughed. I grinned an leaned over, leaving a sweet peck on his cheek.

"Thanks honey." I said, snuggling closer to his torso. He hummed in appreciation of my body moving closer to his. Wrapping his arms around mine, he hummed a sog softly. My head rested on his chest, listening to him hum, the viberations traveling alongs his chest.

"Sung for me." I mumbled.

"Hmm?" Niall said, stroking my hair lazily. I kissed his torso softly through the shirt my head rested on.

"Sing for me." I said, louder.

"What song do you want me to sing for you boo?" he asked.

"Whatever song you were just huming." I said, yawning.
