People are strange
They really are
Swaying in the wind one moment
Stubborn as a rock
The next
Soaring like doves today
Crashing like sparrows tomorrow
I would shoot ten sparrows out of the sky
For one of you
Which is why they fall so quickly
And let me tell you
The rain is just their
Broken wings
And the wind just
Us laughing at them.
