Movie theater
Parking lot
Cars packed together
Like sardines in a can
Opened the door but
Scratch another...
What else to do?
He left his number
On the windshield
Said he'd pay it back
And five years later
He couldn't have been happier
That he'd been so careless
His wife laughed in the background
As he told the story
Of how he lost six hundred dollars
And found the love of his life.
