How do you know when things are going bad?
When everyone round you is silent and sad
How do you know when things are going wrong?
When there's no one there to help sing this song
How do you know when things are going fine?
When there's someone there to help pass the time
How do you know when things are okay?
When there's someone beside you to help waste the day
How do you know when things are going good?
When there's someone beside to guide just like there should
How do you know when things are going well?
When there's someone right there for your stories to tell
How do you know when things are going great?
When there's someone beside to appreciate
How do you know when things are going grand?
When there's someone to smile who might take your hand
How do you know when things are just perfect?
Well
There'll be someone there to help make that verdict
So listen to me
And heed the rhymes
Just stick together
And you'll be fine.
