I stood by her side
By the day and by night
Our friendship was tight
From the start
I stood by her side
When she would run and hide
From the oncoming tide
Of our hearts
I stood by her side
When parts of her died
And her soul was a kite
Torn apart
I stood by her side
With a pill and a knife
So she'd find paradise
In where she would depart
I stood by her side
While she ended her life
And I quietly cried
Out my heart.
