No one knew him
And it threw him
When someone took a moment
To take their car and slow for him
No one cared for him
No one's there for him
And when he was wrecked
He knew there was no repair for him
There was no hope for him
No one spoke for him
And when that car began to slow
He hoped they couldn't smell the smoke on him
No one except
For the girl in that car
Who for once took him in
And she took him far
Far as she could
Until they realized
They wanted to go
On til they died
They stopped off in Vegas
And for the rest of their life
He was finally happy and she was his wife.
